Well to be honest it looks like a First Print Edition more. KH HD limited edition is selling out in PAL regions.

Maybe it's just US doing mass release. Remember how limited crystal edition was while the US LE still have massive amout.

Just wondering that myself, Shopto.net have sold out I think Zavvi had it at one point but I can't find it listed on their site.

Since there is no mention of a release date I wouldn't start to worry yet, hopefully another retailer will announce pre-orders of it soon.

Had this experience with another game recently. Wasn't sealed, so I have MORE reason to want a mint box as possible. The dude was rude. Made worse by the fact I was the only customer at the time, too so I don't see what he beef was.

Good job I checked this thread, totally forgot I pre-ordered via 365games.

I've pre-ordered with GAME and Amazon now instead, will try cancel my pre-order with 365games.

There seems to be some confusion as on Amazon UK it is 24.99 GBP for the limited edition, GAME charge 34.99 GBP and claim to give an extra artbook. I'm worried I'm paying extra but really it is the same artbook inside.

Does anyone know anything more about this?

For now, I'll order from both places just in case.

The FF X / X2 free upgrade to Limited Edition , I think the package will be like Kingdom Heart 1.5 HD Remix Limited Edition , while from SE store it stated fullsize artbook .

Yeah, they are definitely different. Make sure you get an order confirmation if you are going to order from Square Enix's site. There have been a few reports of troubles on that end.

Also the soundtrack isn't a traditional soundtrack. It is basically a blue ray with 6 hours of music and gameplay videos and art. So you won't be able to pop it into a stereo system.

Yes. 100%.
The Collectors edition is 40 pages (20 of which are identical to the limited edition). The Collector's Edition will be a white hardcover book with the Yuna logo on the front. The Limited Edition is a black hardcover with the Tidus necklace logo on the front.

Yeah, there was a lot of confusion about it. It is strange to have have announced the editions the way that they did in such sparse intervals. I know there was a lot of debate about whether 20 pages and a 6 hour video of non downloadable music was worth the price of a whole new game.

Personally I think it is gorgeous. I just wish that it wasn't a square enix store exclusive. I have had trouble with them in the past. That is why I suggest getting a definite order confirmation number.

I would call Square Enix/ Digital River and verify. It can be a long and arduous process, but they will be able to tell you if your order/order confirmation is valid. They can also give you a confirmation number to ease some of the confusion and stress. It just takes ten years to get through. -.-

The bluray disc is the sound track holding 104 mp3 music files and can be ripped if you have a bluray player to do so.

Not too long ago, Play-asia.com did have a version (a standard, not a CE) that according to them was set to release with a japanese dub and english subtitles. Somehow that version disappeared and I can't seem to find it any more.

Does anyone have an idea, where could I find THAT version. I already preordered the CE from Amazon.de, which will only include the english voice overs and subtitles. Importing it if it does exist shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure about X/X-2 but the recent FF13 release had a free DLC/patch that lets you have the original Japanese dub as an option. Maybe they'll do the same with this?

That is messed up. My X/X2 CE preorder is also back in Dec 16 last year. I didn't have problem with LR CE though. It was placed on Dec 11.

drakengard 3 was announced at 5000..this X/X2 edition they keep using words of "extremely limited" but they have been saying that for months, not only that..but Asian stores in Singapore and on-line stores like Play Asia also have this available...my hunch is "extremely limited" means in the 25,000 range or so.

Quisahn Singapore is, as well as some other ones, but there allocation is 'sold out"...the big retailers overseas have abilities to place "bulk orders" through there licensed vendors to satisfy demand for there areas...they just mark them up though, to cover their importing costs and to make profit....some vendor in Malaysia also had it for pre order but now "sold out" as well. meaning there allocation is all taken,..there like grey market imports, for countries outside the US.

Oh I'm not complaining about the stuff they included. To me it was pretty standard and they don't seem bad at all. I'm complaining about the packaging they used for it. It seems really "cheap" to me. I understand why the LE had a digipak, but for the CE (specially charging double the LE) they should had it in a box, and left the art book as its own standalone piece.
Just my opinion though.

I can't decide if to put it with my Art books/Guides or with my CEs/LEs :rotf:

I collect artbook but games also, and both on a separate shelve. Now I don't know on which shelve it will stand.

I would have prefered a separate artbook, just like the limited edition of zone of the enders.
