does anybody know how to remove various stains and or sticker residue off of Y-fold wrapped cellophaned games without harming the cellophane or living noticable residue etc?

Peel sticker(s) off and later remove sticker glue with tape.
NB! depends of sticker but most leave "stamp" (you still can see area where sticker was) on cellophane after removing :(

Benzine works wonders too. Goo Gone as well.

so Goo Gone will remove the sticker residue and some other stains that look like dirty fingerprints off of the cellophane Y fold wrap on a WII game and not damage the Y-fold cellophane wrap at all?

I never used that but I know of someone who used Goo Gone to remove old stickers from videogame card boxes and he said it left no trace on the card boxes. That's as much as I can tell. I did use Benzine once and it worked very well to remove one of those alarms sticked to cellophane, and those are really tough to remove but Benzine worked pretty well. But I also never had to clean or remove anything from Y folds.

Some alcohol should do the trick

a dab of lighter fluid on a napkin or tissue would help... then finish off with a moist cloth

Nail varnish remover and a cotton pad/swab. I've used it plenty of times, just be sparing with it.
