Can't say I have a empty bottle collection although I have emptied many over the years.

I do however have a small handful of full bottles. I've got a few limited bottles of Jack Daniels that are signed by the Master taster and the recently deceased Master distiller Jimmy Bedford.

I also still have a couple of the bottles of the Crown XR that was made for the Queen when she came to the Kentucky derby several years ago.

I'm from Glasgow, I reckon I'd fit the bill pretty well :P

As for the topic, I do like whisky and other stuff but I'd have no room for the bottles so what I do is keep the cork lids. (Anything with a screw-on lid is obviously too cheap for my tastes, haha. :P (Disclaimer, that was said with my tongue firmly in my cheek ;) ))

And for bottles with stuff in them, the table next to my couch is technically a computer table but it's the perfect size for me and has a trough thing in the back which again, is perfect for me since I can keep my relatively decent stuff, or at least the stuff I like more, in it.
Currently there's a bottle of Jinro 25, 2 bottles of absinthe, BNJ whisky (a blend but nice for the price so it's handy to have a bottle of), Heston Earl Grey & Lemon gin, Laphroaig Select (which was an unexpected Christmas present), Highland Park 12, a decanter of Talisker 10 and an almost finished bottle of Cairn O' Mohr bramble wine.
In the other room there's the usual, Whyte & Mackay, Famous Grouse, etc. (the basics of booze basically, vodka, rum, tequila) sitting on the bookcase and in the fridge some of the Cairn O Mohn 'Autumn Oak Leaf Wine'.
I really need to pick up more Ardbeg and Laphroaig Quarter Cask though, lovely stuff.

I don't collect bottles... but I would make an exception for the Dreamcast Wine bottle, which was some executive level employee promotional item from Sega.

Almost everyone here has the same hobby as you. Collecting stuff. We just mostly collect video games and related paraphernalia here. I'm sure several of us have collections of other stuff to. Collecting is just part of life for some people.

Yeah, Iron Man is right, you're in safe hands here with like-minded people.

I mean, mainly I go for video game stuff but over the past while I've gotten into antique (mainly) theological books and some legal books & documents if you want an example of the somewhat more niche things that the rest of us might be into.
Hopefully my collection of at least the theological stuff will grow over time but so far I'm relying purely on luck because of both how tricky it is to find things as it's so niche and when you do, how expensive some things can be.

Just spotted the link to your blog and looked through it, it's a really impressive collection you have! :thumb: It must take up tons of space and some of them must have cost a pretty penny. :)

I don't collect wine bottles, but I collect Absolut Vodka bottles :)

They are all full so I have something I can trade when the Zombie-Apocalypse is coming.
