How to get a Promotional copy of the game?

Sadly I'm neither but I follow a search on eBay for "promo" in the video games category, searching world wide
The promo version of games usually apear on there around the time of the release of the actual title but I check pretty much every day cause I don't want to miss out
Also it's worth talking to any sellers of promo items on eBay, love finding out where the games have come from and such
