Here's a close-up. The quality of these things really differs from coin to coin though. One of these you can barely discern the writing on the back as even saying "one shilling".

Seems to be only on the "steel tin edition" of the game so far, $109 NZD/ $81 USD/ £ 51 GBP which is just just the day one edition plus a "tin box packaging" I'm guessing will be similar to the Black Flag Skull/ Unity Bastille editions

I was eyeballing MightyApe all day yesterday to see what they'd have after missing that cool tankard (and the bag of coins) last year! If its just a big tin edition though, I think I can pass. I usually only need 1 (or maybe 2) steelbooks per edition... not as AC-crazy as others I guess :shrug:

Indeed, we (USA & Canada) ain't getting much this year, beside having the season pass included in the Collector's Edition (which is, for the first time, only available on the UPlay Shop) the statue, the tiny Artbook and the map... Even the soundtrack is only digital and no physical disc. The price, 159,99 CAD is in my opinion a total ripoff this time and I don't see at all the justification behind it. No Steelbook... I will be buying the Big Ben Collector's Case, thanks to a friend. The CE available here will be purchased later on when there's a price drop because a collector's got to do what's best, right?

Yeah its kinda funny with these because I think there's a perfect balance somewhere... we complain if they have too many preorder bonuses and then complain if they don't have much at all. :rotf:

Bummer :( You could create a new Ubisoft account and use someone's US address perhaps if you redeemed anything that was physical in nature? Stinks that its US only and not NA though.

Also, they JUST put up a new AC item. Says its limited to 3!!! I'm going for the clock, but this is pretty sweet for sure and assuming its high quality for that "price" - a whopping 300,000 coins!

Also, I'm so very angry right now at Ubisoft. I have had well over 20 people now sign up under my referral link, but apparently there's a bug where if they don't click the 'register starting now' or one of those links down below BEFORE they click "log-in" at the top that I don't get any recognition. They now want me to have everyone who signed up take a screenshot of their "activity" information to show the +3000 being added and then for me to upload all the different screenshots at which points a representative team will review them all and determine whether or not they meet the requirements and will review whether to give me the points afterwards or not! :banghead: :facepalm: Sometimes I hate these corporations so much. I've already provided them with emails and names of 70% of those who I know signed up already, you'd think they could just check those names and confirm it.

I'm amazed the clock is still there, but until they start awarding me some of these points again (had 2 more sign up today the "right way" but nothing seems to be showing yet either) I'm thinking I'm out of luck for getting this thing!! :suicide:

But surely there must be a place that people get notified of these things besides AtA? I follow like every AC-related thing I know of on Twitter and still have only seen one notification ever. Is there some better site or place to get the information or is it just you have to be F5'ing all day long?
