The Gamestop $189.99 bundles that went live yesterday have in fact sold out and removed from their site. They were canceled/rejected credit card orders that they simply put up on the site bundled together so some people who's card got declined or canceled their orders, Gamestop quickly turned them around and got them re-sold.

FALLOUT LOOT CRATE SPOILERS BELOW

111 Hoodie - It's really nice but honestly the sizing probably runs slightly on the small side.

111 Messenger Bag - Really nice quality, it's a very thick fabric material.

Dogmeat Plush - It's super soft.

Brotherhood of Steel Flag - 5'x3' size, decent material and the holes for putting it up and well made so they won't break.

Set of 4 Coasters - Silicone material, very vibrant and sharp images.

Set of 4 Pin Badges - Metal and feel like good quality although I never wear nice pin badges, too worried I'll lose them outside.

2 Posters - One is a Nuka Cola advert with a bottle and the pin-up in a spacesuit, the other is the concept art of the Power Armour. Both are a good size for framing for the wall, good images and nice thick paper.

Well, I got an email from Game yesterday saying they couldn't take payment so my order is cancelled and to ring their customer services. I checked with the bank and there is no problem with my account so called Game CS. I've called 6 times in total, 4 times there was a fault on the line, on one call I checked the order status which said it was dispatched yesterday and the other call I tried to be put through to a person. The automated line tells you to hold for an adviser before then telling you to hang up, after which the line goes dead. No payment has been taken so they haven't shipped it, the useless twats!

I then tried online chat which says they'll be back in the morning, even though it shows online from 8am and it's now 10am.

According to Twitter they aren't reinstating cancelled orders, saying that they "can't, the orders are gone" which to me sounds like days gone by of Uncharted 3 Explorer Edition, and Resistance 3 Survivor Edition, where they over-allocated orders and just cancelled them.

However, considering I have got a tshirt, I am in the first 10,000 orders, so if they try to tell me they are not reinstating my order, I will fucking flip.

I've been waiting on a call back from them since Saturday, as I needed to change the delivery address and the website wouldn't let me.

Raging doesn't even cover it right now x

too bad that amazon.fr only has the ps4 and pc version i want a pc copy :( also thats why i always use paypal for payments if its a option just use my credit card through it so i get the rewards plus the safety of not being cancelled

Greetings everyone, today I've purchased 10 Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Editions for the PS4 (UK/PAL).

The thing is, ebay won't let me put up a listing due to the game being released in more than 30 days (apparently this is their new policy regarding pre-sales) and I would like to ask for pricing suggestions while I wait for 4 more days.

The temp authorization expires before the game or merchandise comes out and GameStop won't let me change payments, but also says my payment was cancelled because they don't actually take the funds out right away on PayPal. I lost a Pipboy recently and a few other things this past year before I realized what was going on. Now I use credit/debit cards only. No middle man.

Yeah I agree completely on that. It os overwhelming. Fallout 3 was better in terms of promo items... not too little and not too much... but 4 is just crazy. I could never collect for it. Only a few items here and there.

Yeah it is insane. I feel bad for anyone who initially decided "I am going to collect for Fallout4!".

It is a hugely popular license now. It has only gotten bigger since 3, it is kind of a Bioshock and Borderlands equivalent (as in the first game sold not all that well but the sequels exploded, i.e. Bioshock Infinite and especially Borderlands 2).

Bethesda is cashing in on the popularity, the profit with merchandise alone this time will be staggering.

Fallout 3 sold only around 4-5 million in its main selling time frame (over 90% of sales are always in the first few months). In comparison I feel Fallout 4 will double that easily even being on new gen.

Well only a few of anything has hit eBay from the event... and most people there do not sell item (most do not even know they are worth something to collectors and throw them out or drink them, ect..).

12 cases per store would make more sense, but I suppose 2 cases might be it... seems odd though.

But really does not matter, I still propose that even if the conservative amount is true it is still a pretty large number. But the fact that a good amount will used, broken, ect it will help the rarity.

I wondered the same. Out of all the stupid stuff I suckered myself into for Fallout, buying that soda bottle (via eBay) is actually not on my list. Maybe if it were more like the game bottle..

It's a £100 ($150 approx) from Game in the UK. Overly expensive for what it is. Far as I'm concerned it's the dearest of these various Fallout 4 "packages" and as such disappointing.

The biggest problem have with all these retailer exclusive merch bundles is the merch is so bland especially considering the rich art styles they could use

Just got amazing news! The Pip-Boy Edition I ordered for myself just as it went up on Amazon was shipped late (shipped today).

WTF do I pay for Prime for? I am supposed to get release day delivery. The other one I got get sent on time... but not mine.

This is the first time Amazon has really let me down... it seems they were overloaded with all the merch going out that they screwed up some of the orders on shipping time.

Oh on a side note, that other one that was not sent ot me when out Saturday night even and was delivered early on Monday... yet mine could not ship until today.

I order within 10 minutes of the Amazon listing going live back on June 14th just a bit after the E3 event. Then the rest did not sell out for a few days (impressive considering the amount of Fallout fans and collectors).

Anyhow, it's a pretty cool loot box with good quality stuff in it :bananayes:

Yes, I totes opened mine as I was curious, just like I opened my Lootcrate too :drool:
The hoodie is the same as the one in the Lootcrate or Bethesda Store. It's 60% Cotton and 40% Polyester. It's relatively light and warm to wear. The Front 111 is stitched and the back 111 is printed. It has a more faded blue hue than the 101 hoodies, but with a better designed zip tag than the 101. Although it's coming up to Summer season here, I'd probably still have a chance to wear this occasionally since our city can achieve four seasons in one day anytime time of the year! :beach::rotf:

Speaking of which, Lootcrate cost $100, and this Loot Box is $99. I think the Lootcrate has better value, but not by much. Both flags are awesome! And so are the bags! I can go one with comparisons but.... :barsong:

Don't know if it helps you out but firstly there's actual pictures of it here (http://tamrielvault.com/forum/topics/fallout-4-pip-boy-edition-step-by-step-unboxing).

And also, don't want to unduly make you nervous but that's exactly what Amazon were telling me with the DA:I and AC:U ones before they screwed me and cancelled my order. (Don't know about SpeedyHen though, I see them plenty on HUKD but I don't trust them after seeing reviews of them tbh.)

As for the actual item, the outer box looks nice but personally I'm glad I didn't drop the extra money on it, even at the reduced prices; especially when I seen picture 4 in the above link, I thought the images of the item would've been the usual, 'Not final product.' ones before they tweak the items and show the proper versions but nope, that's actually what you get with it. I get they most likely couldn't use red and white the other way about because of Cola having everything locked down legally but I think it looks like a really poor effort, like the sort of little bonuses you'd expect with just the collector's edition guides you get. If anything I'd have thought it would be the other way about if they were doing this, put that stuff with the CE guides and get the really nice pictures with the Ultimate CE guide.




On a side note as far as books go, what does anybody that got the Amazon UK bundle think of the History of Fallout book?
I really like it, great book in my opinion, lovely size and well printed (also a fan of that in between hardback and paperback cover on stuff) and I'm pleased to have the mini soundtrack too.
Plus of course it helps that I got £33 for the game in Game (should've thought ahead and got X1 for the copy of FO3 but I thought I had a friend of a friend lined up wanting the PS4 copy) but that meant I only paid £17 for the book and soundtrack. :)

Fingers crossed it turns up. I only paid £42 on speedy hen so I'm ok with that. If they cancel I will probably just leave it. I already have the collectors edition guide but wanted this one mainly for the box. Pictures are very underwhelming though.

I do not think the will ever really skyrocket. They only did once when people were risking their seller accounts selling them heist after they sold out. Right now (and since the ban to list them was lifted) eBay has been flooded with them. Before launch there were cosistantly 800 or so for sale at all times.

They are not rare in any sense if the word IMO. For example the Juggernog edition sold out instantly and there were over 100,000 of then... the Pip-Boy Edition took almost 4 days to sell out and came back in stock a couple times. I estimate there are probably 300,000 of them worldwide. But that is just a guess... Bethesda will probably never tell is how many there officially are though.

I did say they may have been competing with open editions with something missing on accident. Funny thing is I also said just about everything you said in my previous posts :D Though I did add a long time frame guess for prices to go back up. The the amount for sale on eBay, and the initial amount for sale, I just feel prices will not shoot up for a very long time.

Why? Because you set up a US/NA account and do not feel like making anew account for the local games? Would not be ahrd (assuming you can make a local account for them). Not sure why anyone would drink it since its not a Fallout-related flavor Berry Lemonade I believe is a common flavor which is what they used for the Nuka Cola bottles. I have been getting $45 for my bottles that seems to be the average, anyone trying to get $100 a bottle is probably going to end up sitting on them for a while and people trying to get hundreds of dollars for a bottle are living a fantasy.

Yeah that is what i am going to do, get rid of 2 of the CAD ones and get a US one to match the 1 CAD one. In the end I should, hopefully, not lose too much :D

I wonder what the LE number is on that one.

That wouldn't really matter much on the reselling part. Maybe someone should remind them collectors care how limited and calling something limited without a number is meaningless.

I have been talking with them. They say the anything they tell numbers of sells out too fast and more re-selling. While I agree there has to be truth to that, I also think you cannot right a wrong but doing something wrong yourself.

Helping us by trying to avoid scalpers is great, but I personally do not like the expense knowing how rare my item actually is.

Not sure if anyone else here agrees with me or not. For me some non numbered items can be special, but for retail stuff especially we all know any number can be called "Limited Edition".

As far as I know you don't have to buy the game or the season pass to get it. You'll get it for free if you buy the game or season pass, but you still can purchase it for around $2 I think
