I used to collect these when I was younger and have recently been bit with the bug again.. Anyone here collect any retro games such as Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega, etc?

I tend to want to get games for a variety of systems which can get expensive. I've seen people focus on one or the other trying to collect them all.

I still collect those, go to the flea market every 2 week and to some independent store to see if I can find some rare stuff

Sega CD, genesis, snes, nes, gamecube, dreamcast, saturn, Neo Geo.

Get an everdrive cartridge, it kinda kills the collecting :P

I don't go to a lot of flea markets anymore but try to scour what I can locally.

Most, if not all, of the old games can be found on roms but I still prefer the original cart :)

Peter: If you're a fan of the everdrive cart and want to unload some of your games I'd be happy to take some off your hands that I'm looking for :D

You gotta specific on what you title you want, old stuff is pretty vague you know

Got a few title of each console, only buying when I want to :P

Also into retro collecting.

Got a good quantity of games but not close to any complete collections.

Am going for full PS2 and gamecube before the price rockets (already has)

Yeah, I still collect some retro games (though I got rid of my entire "retro" collection years ago). I mostly now just collect for either the franchises or characters that I liked best as a kid -- collect retro of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Mario, Dragon Warrior/Quest and then any of the RPGs I played that I enjoyed too (pretty much all of them).

I'm not sure if the old games are becoming popular again but there seems to be a demand coming back for them. It seems like prices rise on some by the week.
