Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have a handful of old collector's edition stuff I'll be listing in the near future. Before I do though, I was wondering if there's any market for game cases/manuals sans game.

You lot seem to be more hardcore collector's dealing primarily in steelbook/collector's editions but I remember on some of the old game forums I'd frequent people would occasionally be looking for simple cases because they purchased the game from gamefly or gamestop and didn't have the case/manual to go along.

Are empty cases/manuals something I should bother listing?

It might not be a very huge market but I think there would be people interested in that. Sometimes different regions have different artwork on the disc cases. There could be collectors interested in that as buying one with the game would cost quite a bit.

I look for empty cases (and boxes) occasionally.

So do I. I don't like it if a collectors edition only comes with the Steelbook/Metalpak so I need the normal cases from time to time.

You can list and get minimal return or stick in a box in the loft and in 20 years make some money from your mint boxes :)

i'm looking for a triple tray xbox 360 case, but it seems like no one makes one. they only make a single case where you stack the discs on top of each other.

Don't recall, but didn't Lost Odyssey have the discs with separate trays? I believe Halo ODST did as well (the original came with a soundtrack or multiplayer disc or something IIRC).

I think Lost Odyssey did but I don't know about ODST.

Another game to check would be Blue Dragon.

A couple I would put in the maybe category would be Final Fantasy, L.A. Noire, Mass Effect or Halo 3.

Could try games with included soundtracks like Knight stated but that could be a long shot .

I'll try to confirm some of these as soon as I get home from work.

Lost Odyssey did not have a tray; it just had an extended button that held 3 discs and disc 4 was in a white sleeve.

Also other games not mentioned are Max Payne 3 which had a tray and some other GOTY edition games with DLC discs.
Borderlands, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
