Hi, so I bought a "sealed" gamingheads clicker statue. I just had a quick look at it and by my definition it is not sealed at all.

Does it come that way? I highly doubt it, but I don't know for sure. Would be nice if someone could let me know.
I don't know if I should do anything about it.
The box is also ready to be opened if you open that bag. I wonder if there was another seal on it.
Let me know please :)

When i bought mine clicker statue in store it only came in a box. And the box wasnt sealed. Not with plastic or a sticker.

I've seen videos of it being in that plastic bag. But you cant see if the bottom side of the bag is closed that way or if it was retaped by the guy I bought it from. It just seems to me that the bag has already been opened and just taped back together. It's not what "sealed" means to me.

That bag is the same as the outer box they shipped it with, to me it means nothing. For most statues -
1. there’s a shipping box
2. once you open that box there’s a bag or plastic wrap around it
3. inside the wrap there’s the box with art with the statue in it, this box may and may not have a sticker or tape sealing it
4. Inside the box, there’s foam protecting the statue, which may or may not be taped
To be, I would consider it’s “brand new sealed” if the tape in 3 is not broken if there is one.

I may open the plastic bag and see if the foam is sealed (I know for sure there is one on this, if not opened)
Thanks!

Statues from Gamingheads and F4F have the polystyrene mould which the statue is housed in, sealed with tape along the joint. The art box will not be sealed shut with a sticker or tape. The shipping container will be the only other box which is taped closed. I would personally consider it new and sealed if the tape is not broken in number 4.
F4F have also started putting a blue and white, signed quality assurance sticker on the tape on the box for the polystyrene mould. This is something which they have been doing for the last 2-3yrs now.
Personally, I would not buy a statue from a seller who advertises it as new and sealed anyway, as this tells me that the statue has not been inspected since being received from the manufacturer and has not been checked by the original purchaser for defects or breakages. If you decide to open it and there is problem with the statue, then you will not be able to get it replaced or repaired from the manufacturer and the seller will just tell you that it was sold as sealed and they were unware of any issues and cannot do anything about it.
A friend of mine sold a couple of OoT Link Statues from F4F which he bough off play.com many moons ago. He sold them as new and sealed and one of the statues, the buyer had opened a case against him as the statue was received broken. Ofcourse he could not exactly provide a replacement and having not checked the item before dispatch, he could not prove otherwise that it was damaged in transit. Since you cannot insure statues for breakages during transit, I always add a clause to my listing with regards to purchases and items being received broken. I will ofcourse do my best to package the items to avoid any potential damage, but cannot be held responsible if a statue is damaged in transit.
