Was there a quantity limit for the purchase? I suppose people buying multiple makes it sell that fast, like sold out in 1 hour... I feel Ellie Edition lasted much longer.

There was. It was one copy per purchase. Technically you could make multiple purchases but given how slow the site was, it wasn't very easy to do so. Some people tried to ship it to my house and said they got a warning saying account suspected or reselling would get their orders cancelled. So while not fool proof, it was one of the better mechanics I have seen lately.

It's just that the popularity of the game, a some what affordable price, combined with learned lessons for how much the remastered steelbooks goes for, it just sold out fast. I am seeing a lot of genuine people saying they got one on social media so I am guessing the scalper to fan ratio was a bit better for this one

Unfortunately a number of our members were hit by this. Mine thankfully was ok but based on our comparisons of the shipping information, there were 3 warehouses. Two of them did a decent job of packaging, at the very least they were shipped in boxes with some wrapping. One on the hand, had a staff wide temporary shut down of all cognitive functions and shipped them in the stupidest packaging in video game history.
