That's right, this year marks the 20th Anniversary of Sonic and like Nintendo with their 25th year celebration of Mario. Sega is working with companies to produce limited edition products to celebrate.
The first is a limited Edition Sonic theme induction charger for the Nintendo Wii.
so far it's currently a US release with no word on if it will be released in other regions.
Retail price is $49.99, can be purchased from Amazon.com when in stock or from the gameshark store (http://store.gameshark.com/viewItem.asp?idProduct=5050&idCategory=316). Can't seem to find others who are stocking yet, difficult to check on stock from UK Google.

Gaming accessory company Mad Catz is celebrating Sonic’s 20th Anniversary a little early with a limited edition Sonic the Hedgehog Figure Inductive Charger for Nintendo Wii Remotes. As you can see in the above pictures, the figure has Sonic posing with a classic peace sign on a Green Hill Zone themed platform that holds and charges two Wii Remotes at a time, even when in their jackets. This piece of merchandise is very collectible, as according to the press release they are not only limited, but individually numbered, too
