cool site... they didn't have a single CE listed for PAL or NTSC-J regions though... which I find hard to believe

they also didn't have that Yu-gi-oh CE listed nor any of the box sets...

they DID have some info on the Nascar CE though

Lunar Silver Star Story, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue & Arc the Lad Collection all came with extra stuff. Eventhough they aren't consider CE, but they sure look like one.

There was also Final Fantasy VIII Special Edition (one of my Holy Grails) LINK (http://i50.tinypic.com/jjlqpy.jpg) which came with big box, T-Shirt, Memory Card and some stickers for Memory Card.

I've tried to find it somewhere to buy it, but I guess it is now impossible to buy it anywhere.

I've just heard that is a PS1 release of Gran Turismo 2 Le Mans Edition , but I can't find anything about it. Does anybody has any info about this?

EDIT: It turn out it was French only, short time published in France. Besides first two disks, it had a third. The game was started on third disc, created save file and then started normally on GT mode with 100,000 CR. This is just a hear-say from another forum, nothing confirmed.

I just started to write out a list of all the LE and CE's I know of, when I remembered that Defcon has pretty much most of them already listed on his site!

One I believe he is missing from his database is the Grand Theft Auto: Limited Edition, which comes with a soundtrack CD and features a different cover design (Gold, grey, purple) opposed to the usual design

Not to be confused with the later released GTA Limited Edition which is a compilation of all three PlayStation GTA games


I also own another GTA LE (Sealed) which is the Platinum version of GTA plus London 1969 packaged together side by side. However, I have reason to believe that this was just a retailer bundle and not an actual legit LE package

This is true, notice how in the first Premium Package pic it says "Premium Package" and in the second on the box it says "Limited Edition Premium Package", the limited edition one is the PAL.
