This sort of came out of the blue but it looks like Europe will be getting the Collector's Edition treatment for the recently announce Agarest: Generation of War Zero.
The Collector's Edition will contain the following:
Blu-ray PS3 game (with double sided inlay + colour manual)
A3 double sided poster showing on one side the concept drawing of the image used on the inlay and on the other the finished coloured artwork
Agarest: GoWZ Original Soundtrack.
3 x 3D lenticular art cards
All of this will be packaged neatly in to a Collector’s Edition box.
Also if you pre-order the game direct from the publisher (Ghostlight), you have the  option to also purchase a Limited Edition Black T-shirt (original design to Ghostlight Smile).
Currently only the PS3 version is confirmed with Ghostlight yet to secure the rights to the Xbox 360 version.
As of yet only the UK is confirmed but other European countries are expected to get this, be on the lookout.
There is currently no confirmed release date.
Pre-orders will take place soon, for those in the UK who want to get the limited Edition T-shirt. You will be able to pre-order from the Ghostlight website here: Agarest: Generation of War Zero Collector’s Edition +  T-Shirt (http://www.ghostlight.uk.com/games/sony-ps3/agarest-generations-of-war-zero-collectors-ed-tshirt.html)

It certainly did come out of the blue!
I would be interested in this, but I would like to make sure that there's not going to be an X360 version before I commit myself to the PS3 version. Please keep us notified, especially if an X360 version is announced. Confirmation either way would be appreciated

Unfortunately at the moment there are no plans for a Xbox 360 release.
I can confirm however that this collector's edition is available through our webstore throughout the PAL region.

Ok, thanks for that info. Does that mean that there might be an Xbox version after the release of the PS3 version, or is an Xbox version unlikely at all?

Is this the only place we will be able to pre-order this CE, or will it also be available from other retailers, sans the T-shirt?

I'd say its unlikely that thre will be an Xbox version. The Collectors edition will be available from other retailers without the T-Shirt

Ok, thanks for the reassurance. I look forward to when pre-orders go live, and will most likely order from your site as I really do like the look of that T-shirt!
The artwork looks amazing, and will be nice to have alongside the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus CE artwork!

As nice as the T shirt is, I think I will stick to ordering from GAME for the cheaper price. I can't justify paying an extra tenner for a separate T shirt which isn't even my size!

While you won't get the T-Shirt I suspect some of the UK based retailers such as Game.co.uk, Amazon.co.uk, shop-to.net e.t.c will ship to the US. It's not something I've ever looked into myself though.

I was led to believe the release date had been put back until 26th August, but I have now received an eMail from GAME stating that the release has now been put back yet again to the 2nd of September. Is this accurate? And will this be the last delay?

Ok, earlier I get an eMail from GAME stating the release date has been put back until the 2nd of September, and now I have another one stating it is being processed for dispatch!?
As you may already be aware, the UK release date for Agarest: Generations Of War ZERO Collectors Edition has changed to 02-Sep-2011. Changes to release dates are relatively common in the videogames industry and are unfortunately beyond our control.
I am delighted to let you know that your Preorder for Agarest: Generations Of War ZERO Collectors Edition is now being processed subject to successful payment being taken from your credit card when it is dispatched. The order will be despatched by your chosen delivery method in time to reach you for the day of release.

Really awesome shirt! Too bad it's too big for me, next time I won't bother preordering if it's just for a shirt that won't fit me. I could have just saved more than twenty dollars instead without the shirt :)

wow, that's a pretty generous sized poster (whatever it'll look like)
I don't often get many PSP games, mostly the FF series.
I guess it'll all depend on the pricing as we get TAXED for odering at the site along with the postage and handling...which I've never encountered before. May as well just include the cost in the P&H. I'll just wait and see, thanks for the heads up. :)

They're not. Check out Square-Enix's recent PSP CEs. A lot of them came as only CE first before standard editions started popping up gradually afterwards.
Actually, since this is the Agarest thread, I've always wondered something.
I have a copy of the first Agarest: Generations of War CE and it has the Australian OFLC rating all over it yet I don't ever recall this CE (or this game) ever getting a local release in my country?
Did Agarest actually get an official Australian release or was the rating just tacked on the CD and box and forgotten about like practically every Wii game in existence to cut production costs for PAL territories?

^ Well I know for the UK we got the game with both a PEGI and the German USK. It's standard practice for NIS America games.
Officially it was released in AUS as it does have two different age ratings.

Choose the amazon.co.uk not other sellers, sorry unsure if they ship to US though
Also http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/VideoGames0hhsmbr0j9/ cheaper but again sorry not sure if ship to US; I haven't used Gameseek so not sure how they are but you can often get some hard to get stuff off them for somewhat higher price yet sometimes they are cheap
Out of topic shopto doing pre-orders for #2 cheaper than play.com and amazon is not listed yet - http://www.shopto.net/PS3/VIDEO%20GAMES/PS3AG04-Agarest%20Generations%20of%20War%202%20Collectors% 20Edition.html =p

Amazon UK do not ship out of Europe
The Zavvi group,
The Base group
the GAME group
HMV
Are the main ones that ship worldwide.
Also Play-Asia now ship European games to US
