Need a new bag? Like collecting videogame CE's? Never fear, for CE.O has you covered!

I have noticed that lately, bags seem to be the new "in thing" for CE's, be they messenger bags, back-packs, or sling bags. It's as if the publishers have all grouped together and decided that collectors would prefer bags instead of figures in their extortionately priced Collector's Editions!

I thought it would be interesting to track here all the recent CE's which come with bags:

Crysis 2 - Nano Edition (Worldwide) - PS3, X360, PC
Dead Island - Red Edition (Austria) - PS3, X360, PC
InFamous 2 - Hero Edition (Worldwide) - PS3
Mirror's Edge (US) - PS3, X360
Resident Evil 5 (US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand) - PS3, X360
Resistance 3 - Survivor Edition (UK) - PS3

Any which i've missed?

I know what you mean about these bags, I think you even prophesied about it.

I know BlazBlue Continuum Shift Collector's Edition got a bag.

The crysis 2 bag is so ugly. The plastic metal is horrible.

I really don't like bags. I would never use them, and there not much of a display piece.

I don't know about bags being the new new "in" thing to include... what about playing cards? that seems pretty popular too...

Fable III Limited Collector's Edition
Fallout New Vegas Collector's Edition
Men of War: Assault Squad Special Edition
Record of Agarest War: Zero Limited Edition
Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Edition
Two Worlds II Royal Edition
Dead Rising 2 High Stakes Edition
Resistance 3 Survivor Edition
Hyperdimension Neptunia (Premium Edition)

there might be more but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, most are fairly recent releases too (within the last year or so).

I'm most happy with a SteelBook + Soundtrack CD to be perfectly honest.

if you want to make a "nice" edition put it in a larger ruggedly built box with a full-sized hard cover art-book and a piece of memorabilia from the game (like Cog Tags fro GOW or a Sack Boy plush for Little Big Planet)

You're quite right! How could I forget GTA IV!

I agree. Playing Cards do seem to be quite common, along with Dice and Poker Chips. They're cheap to produce, and fairly small
