Space Channel 5 Part 2 is one of my all time favorite games...

I played it on the Dreamcast back in the day and loved it...

I'm considering building a Complete collection of all Game Variations from all regions, including all official Audio discs...

So far this is what I know of:

Game Discs:
Space Channel 5 (Dreamcast) [NTSC]
Space Channel 5 (Dreamcast) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 (Dreamcast) [PAL]
Space Channel 5 (PS2) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 (PS2) [PAL]
Space Channel 5 (promo) (PS2) [PAL]
Space Channel 5 Dreamcast Collection (Dreamcast) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 MIL-CD (Dreamcast) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 Special Edition (PS2) [NTSC]

Space Channel 5 Part 2 (Dreamcast) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 Part 2 (PS2) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 Part 2 (PS2) [PAL] (Australian/Europe/German/UK)
Space Channel 5 Part 2 Special Package (Dreamcast) [NTSC-J]
Space Channel 5 Part 2 The Best (PS2) [NTSC-J]
Dreamcast Collection (Xbox 360) [NTSC]
Dreamcast Collection (Xbox 360) [PAL]
Dreamcast Collection (PC-DVD) (Australian/Europe/German)

Space Channel 5 Ulala's Cosmic Attack (GBA) [NTSC]
Space Channel 5 Ulala's Cosmic Attack (GBA) [PAL]

---------

Audio CDS:
Space Channel 5 Original Soundtrack (Japan) (slip cover with white backround with "5" logo in the center)
Space Channel 5 Remix Tracks (Japan) (digi-pak silver background with Ulala's face)
Space Channel 5 Planet Dance Sampler (USA) (rainbow background with Ulala leaning over)

Space Channel 5 Part 2 Can't Stop Remix (Japan) (plue and pink with Ulala in spy outfit)
Space Channel 5 Part 2 Non Stop Mega Mix (Japan) (pink background with Ulala's face)
Space Channel 5 Part 2 Soundtrack Vol CHU (Japan) (white background with block graphic and Ulala laying down)
Space Channel 5 Part 2 Soundtrack Vol HEY (Japan) (white background with block graphic and Ulala, Pine and Pudding)

-------------

There are a number of what seem to be "holes" for instance
-Was the Dreamcast collection for Xbox 360 released in Japan?
-Part 2 released in PAL territories at all?
-Was the GBA "Cosmic Attack" game released in Japan?

------------

*I previously thought that Part 2 was never released in any english speaking countries and then this picture turned my world upside down:

UPDATE: This is a fake release made by a fan, not a real edition.

Any information anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated :)

Part 2 was released in PAL. You can find a few non-english cover/manual copies on eBay but a full english version is much harder to find. I have an Australian copy with the AUS rating on it.

I think this one is custom made by homebrew team that extract the voice from ps2 ver. into DC jap ver.

So I don't think there is official ver. of US Dreamcast ver.
But the cover and manual look pretty nice, I'd buy one of those if they have on sale.

Damn! I really like music from game on Dreamcast especially MSR.
Too bad...they're gone

Looking a little closer, I think you're right... but it's a damn well done imitation.

I just glanced at your list above, and didn't see these, but if they are there then please correct me.

Space Channel 5 - Lenticular holographic cover (NTSC U) - Dreamcast
This is an alternative cover variation, where a standard "flat" cover also exists

Space Channel 5 & Space Channel 5 Part II collection (NTSC U) - PS2
In North America there is a reasonably obscure double-pack for the PS2 which includes both games

Space Channel 5 Part II did indeed get released in the UK, although in very limited numbers. The French / European variation is much more commonly spotted though, so don't confuse the two

Also, if you're going all-out, then you might also want to consider the SEGA Superstars series of games which feature Ulala as a playable character:

SEGA Superstars - A PS2 Eye-Toy game
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_Superstars

SEGA Superstars Tennis - PS2, PS3, X360, Wii, DS

Sonic & SEGA ALl-Stars Racing - PS3, X360, Wii, DS, PC
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonic_%26_Sega_All-Stars_Racing

Ulala has also cameoed in other Sonic Team games as well:

Appearances in other games

Ulala, along with other Space Channel 5 elements, have appeared in several other video games:

I'm assuming you mean for PS2? Damn so they actually released a PAL region Japanese language version?

I just glanced at your list above, and didn't see these, but if they are there then please correct me.

Space Channel 5 - Lenticular holographic cover (NTSC U) - Dreamcast
This is an alternative cover variation, where a standard "flat" cover also exists
Already up there... AFAIK every copy of the Dreamcast version had the Lenticular cover, I've never seen one without this cover except in the rare instance where someone lost the holographic card insert.

Space Channel 5 & Space Channel 5 Part II collection (NTSC U) - PS2
In North America there is a reasonably obscure double-pack for the PS2 which includes both games
again, already up there... this is the "Special Edition" for PS2... and AFAIK it's the only version of the game released for PS2

Space Channel 5 Part II did indeed get released in the UK, although in very limited numbers. The French / European variation is much more commonly spotted though, so don't confuse the two
I'll have to keep a look out. Is there actually a french language version? or is it just the box/manual thats in french?

Also, if you're going all-out, then you might also want to consider the SEGA Superstars series of games which feature Ulala as a playable character:

SEGA Superstars - A PS2 Eye-Toy game

I didn't know they used her in so many games... I don't know how all-out I'll be going. I think I'm probably going to get all of the audio discs and then the just the Major variations of the game. Some of the stuff seems redundant. (ie: I wont bother with the PAL Dreamcast Collection since it's identical to the US release save for the region markings)

I believe it's the box and manual which is in Foreign for the non-UK release of Space Channel 5 Part II. I think the actual game disc has a language select, although I can't be 100% sure on this as A) I have the UK version; and B) It's sealed

My copy is entirely in English though, so any non-UK variation would be obvious by the non-English back cover

The Wikipedia article on Space Channel 5 Part II via the Space Channel 5 page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Channel_5#Space_Channel_5:_Part_2) claims that that Part II was released in Europe except for the UK, and the Space Channel 5 Part II page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Channel_5:_Part_2#No_UK_Release) also gives a further explanation:

No UK Release

The game was pulled from the shelves moments before being released in the United Kingdom (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom). This is thought to be because of the recently-aired television programme Living with Michael Jackson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_with_Michael_Jackson), which led to a child molestation lawsuit being filed against the singer. The only playable version officially released in the UK was a demo of the first level which came with issue 30 of Official Playstation 2 Magazine UK (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Official_Playstation_2_Magazine_UK&action=edit&redlink=1). However, several copies of the intended UK release have been sold on sites such as eBay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EBay) and have made their way into the preowned games market. Players can also import the game from another PAL region such as Germany, France or Spain, as the game features multiple languages.

I managed to get hold of a UK copy at release from an indie store who had aquired a batch and neglected to return their stock

NB: The above article also confirms that the game disc has multiple selectable languages

that would explain the rarity of the UK release.

yeah, that's the Space Channel 5 Part 2 "Special Package"

it's probably the highest release on my "wanted" list right now... though I've yet to find one in the condition I'm looking for... they usually have damage to the box :( somehow I doubt the picture in the link you posted is of the actual item.
