It's likely a online exclusive, a GAME store may get one two if they are super lucky. It depends on the location.

As for the Canadian version, many games in Canada will have both English and French text. Even some US games get them to save costs.

No one really knows at this point.

sorry, I didn't bother looking pages back. But for a while now, you can no longer preorder it around here [online or instores] It's pretty much the same as Deus Ex CE, never saw it instore and never came back online in our territory. As for Crysis 2 NE....that was so l33t, nobody really knew about it and I'd say there'd only be a few hundred in existence [here]!!

I just find it odd that there's endless supply of the US CE but only a few UK EE.

But even more so it's the lack of knowledge of the product, game screwed me over and even after a complaint email to the CEO (seems the only way to assure a reply) and even then the lack of 'support' is awful...I've not had a proper answer nor a reply of if there will be stock in store...why not just say no if there isn't going to be any?

My guess is there will be some 'pockets' of stock, well for messing me about you could at least give me a straight answer or say they will try to source me one (even if they don't bother, at least pretend to care) :hammer:

Long story short:

Added to basket, but wanted to order in store...store didn't know anything about EE suggested I called Game cust services. Next day called them, they didn't know what was happening either - no warning of it being online exclusive nor very limited...went online and had that funny error where it says my address is wrong, then later that day it was removed.

So, in ultra short - is Game knew what they were doing and had a web site that worked I'd have the EE. This was compounded by the fact I pre-ordered the SE the day it went up - so I feel being a specific customer who is easy to target I should have been informed of the EE directly.

GAME seem to have taken money for this edition extremely early! Usually they don't take money until two or three days before release, but they're a good ten days early for this!

Hoping it's well packed, as this is one CE I don't want to be returning! But if past experieces are anything to go by, it's always the bulky heavy ones which get dropped on their corners! :(

This sucks.. I have asked many retailers in India (web retailers) and none of them have the Uncharted Explorer Edition available :(

I say Explorer because since all the EU versions of console games are sold in India I would presume the E.E should theoretically have been made available.

Is there any way I can buy this version since online retailers refuse to ship 1kg+ items internationally!

Great... amazon.de and fishpond both don't have it in stock.

By explanation do you mean there was a disagreement with the distributors?? Not exactly related but these days milestone have become asses and are preventing all retailers from discounting pre-release games.

What sucks is the fact that out of the trinity of Sony exclusives, it was only Infamous 2's CE which made it to our shores :(

Also on another note, what exactly is the difference between the CE and EE? (Other than the fact that the DLC vouchers for the EU will most probably work on an Indian PSN account.)

Quick question about Gamestop - it's the first time I've ordered anything from them, so I'm just wondering... how exactly do they alert you once your item has been dispatched? I've just emailed them about it, but now I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that I ordered it along with the Animus Edition of Assassin's Creed (so it basically looks like one order). I'll be slightly peeved if that is the case, as there was no mention of them dispatching the items together if I ordered them this way, and Assassin's Creed isn't even out until the 15th!!

In italy we also get a bonus laminated poster on pre-order and a special numbered frame that contains infamous2, resistance 3 and uncharted 3 laminated posters inside gived free when you preordered all of those games

Don't they only ship by UPS? You're guaranteed to pay fees that way. Avoid gamestop whenever you can.

Received my Uncharted 3 Explorer Edition yesterday morning - Very well packaged by GAME I might add!

I am very impressed with the quality of this set. For £100, it almost feels underpriced, considering other similarly-priced sets of late have been quite of a disappointment (Eg, InFamous 2 Hero Edition, Resistance 3 Survivor Edition, Dead Island Treasure Edition etc)

Even the box it comes in is textured, which makes it feel of a higher quality. Everything about the Uncharted games seems to have a high production value, even down to the end user products!

This is definitely a contender for CE Of The Year 2011 in my opinion, and is so much better than that flimsy CE the Americans received!

This is precisely the case. But as SquirrelRaper has pointed, the spine on the copy of the game found in the US CE says Region All. This was the case with copies of Resistance 3, so I presumed that DLC's not region-locked there.

It was with GAME I ordered with, and usually they have been delivering within 2 days. I also got an order dispatched economy from ZAVVI and that turned up yesterday.

you CANNOT go on-line in at least your neighbor to the west, as i know someone who had problems with going on-line...he has a UK version of PS3 with NTSC version of game sourced from Dubai..and on-line pass does NOT work..can't speak for india, i'd assume it would be the same as in the land of the pure ;)

I think the answer is we don't know for sure because it's early days.

I know with LBP I had a US copy I coupld play with my UK account - I had to buy DLC from the US store but it worked on my UK account.

it is also available in japan, and majority of the asian region...but avoid hong kong, if you don't want stickers plastered all over the box itself..that are not able to be removed without discarding the package, also not even stickers that are themed or similiar colors,..big black and white text ones, with bunch of warnings in different regional languages, theres even one small ugly one in front of the package and it is in blue, red, and yellow with some kind of "hong kong" distribution company logo.

Is this!!!!???...i preordered uncharted 3 explorer edition second copy from fishpond.au in english as i already have one german one that i will enjoy the contents and wanted to keep one sealed...so i logged into fishpond to find out the status of my order?..since the game has already released for some weeks and i have yet to receive dispatch e-mail, and i check in my account, and the message says..."they are contacting the manufacturer to check availability"...what the hell is this???...they were selling a product that they had no right or allocation too?..i placed preorder 10 weeks ago...they sent e-mail confirmation,...with order number..i paid with paypal..and 2 weeks in, they are now "checking"..when we know it's sold out everywhere....this is a poorly run company, this is unbelievable..the preorders were still up for an additional 3 weeks after i placed my order and paid in full...they were blindingly selling something with no secure way of acquiring...i can't believe this.

Oh my, you weren't aware mate.

Fishpond is the WORST when it comes to preorders. They're legendary for offering cheap prices on a preorder CE but when push comes to shove, they're also notorious for never having stock either at all or on time of release.

Don't ever, ever use them for preorder CEs. And they make it difficult to contact them as well too.

but avoid hong kong, if you don't want stickers plastered all over the box itself..that are not able to be removed without discarding the package

I got this uncharted Asian bundle edition today, the stickers all over it, however I removed with no problem, no marks or residue left either.

Put it in a place where it is cool, heat makes it worse, take a edge and very very slowing pull sticker off at a 45 degree angle until one side is off, then remove side ways.

The Korean one just has a bonus DLC card? Is that it? The rest should pretty much be the same as the general Asia version, no? It's quite rare for Asia to get radically different products e.g. HK version = Korean version. Mostly.

Might pick it up in either HK or Korea then if I see it but, it's useless to me in terms of playing it since DLC codes are region specific.

Korea is the only one offers DLC card, HK doesn't unless you buy the DLC separately from PSN. I like how they printed "Steelbook Edition Voucher" on the card and sticker on the outside of that shrinkwrap. This game has both English & Korean audio and Korean subtitle. The case itself is the same as HK, slipcover are in Korean & English.

Thanks for that. So it is basically the same thing. I'll stick to locally for playing (no DLC/Multiplayer issues this way). If I like the case for the Asian version I may just pick it up.

fishpond.au customer service implied there's "another wave" of UNCHARTED 3 EXPLORER EDITIONS coming in the second week of December just in time for Christmas to select retailers, and at that time my Explorer Edition order will be fulfilled, when i ordered it back in late September...i know some companys due "hold backs" on merchandise, and i can see it being feasable, as it's a hot item, a big money maker, and christmas is around the corner, i see no reason for fishpond.au to straight out lie and make up stuff..but at the same time, i'm having trust issues in what they say and reality after what i heard on these forums and how my order has'nt been fulfilled yet,..or if at all,..what do you guys think?..will there be more EXPLORER EDITIONS on the horizen?
