Ghostlight have announced that Persona 2: Innocent Sin will be finally seeing a European release on the PSP, and with it a Collector's Edition!

Once you’ve taken a minute or two to feast your eyes above, have a look down here at all the juicy details. This stunning Collector’s Edition includes the following delights:

- Special Collector’s Edition box
- UMD box featuring a double sided inlay
- Official Soundtrack CD with original and remixed soundtrack, as well as arranged songs by Shoji Meguro all packaged in a stylish slim jewel case with inlay
- 6 Double Sided Art Cards featuring the work of Kazuma Kaneko on the front and Shigenori Soejima on the reverse

I love Ghostlight CEs! And Persona 2 was one of my favourite all-time games that I never got to finish!

If I remember correctly, Innocent Sin was Japanese only and the first part of Persona 2. It was only Eternal Punishment that was released in NTSC and that was the one I played.

That is indeed correct!

Although Europe never received any of the PlayStation games at all, and the first Persona game we go here was Persona 3 on the PS2

Agreed it's a poor attempt at a collector's edition, however the fact they are doing anything to please the CA/US NTSC regions is welcome change of pace.

For example look at Square-enix and how they treat CA/US compared to PAL, you guys didn't even get a pre-order bonus for many of the recent PSP collector's edition games we got here. Also let's not forget Final Fantasy Xiii.

In the end it evens itself out as you guys get some truly great exclusive editions. A quick scan over at NIS america gives you a idea.

Beat me to it, and my copy is AWESOME! I also got the (slightly scuffed) Persona 3 Portable CE from Game retail (UK), before I found out about that Ghostlight were selling the same for cheaper, and they had the awesome T-Shirt on top as well (missed out on that completely :().

Anyway, this needs to be added ASAP! :D

At the moment we've still got quite a few of both the poster and the T-Shirt left while we're unlikely to print more when they're sold out I'd say there is a reasonable chance that we'll have some left but I can't guarantee anything.

GAME seem to have shambled up a last-minute listing on their site for Persona 2, but don't appear to have any pictures or many details about this apart from the price (£24.99). Pretty strange considering it's due to be released tomorrow!

They certainly have, ever since the site got updated. They still seem to be having some problems, and it seems that ever other page I visit has some kind of errors

Up until now they didn't have this or Trails In The Sky on their site, so wasn't sure whether they were having trouble getting hold of stock, or just didn't know about it? However, they've recently added Trails In The Sky, but it looks like it's just the standard version, so who knows what P2 could be...

I actually missed the boat on this release somehow, and am now desperately trying to find a place I can order the game from. Whatever it was that GAME had in stock is now sold out, so Persona 2 must have been extremely limited or in very high demand!

Where did you guys order from? Where would you recommend for me to get one?

Why don't you buy it directly from Ghostlight's website? I think they have it for sale. I also didn't buy any of the editions they released because I'm totally broke but I hope to do so next month. Just hope they still have it available by then...
