Hi all,

I’m currently looking for collectors to feature in the collector's corner section of gamesTM.

We tend to cover games with an interesting story behind why they’re collectable, or those considered to be real jewel in the crown items among serious collectors. So If anyone has something exceptionally rare and special they would be willing to share and show off in the mag then please drop me an email.

Thanks for reading, and also to Gemini-Phoenix for allowing me to post this request.

I guess your looking for old school classic games. I only have the 1st version original Mario brothers and Zelda. Nothing fancy. Rest of my games are retro :beg:

Yeah, I should have made that clear really. Its retro games we’re looking for, Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube era is the last generation we would probably consider. If anyone has any questions, feel free to drop a line.

hmmmmmn. Maybe my most unique retro game is fall out 3 survival edition(amazon exclu edition PS3). Worth around 10k (sealed).

Other then that: D2 CE. Dead Space ulta limited edition,Bioshock limited edition, World of Warcraft CE, Mass effect CE, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 CE, Assassins creed limited edition, Demon's Souls Black Phantom Edition, and a few others. (ALL SEALED)

I know there are a lot more people with more valuable CE's than me. They may assist you.

Gameshark, PS3 is definitely not considered retro :haha: and also, £10,000? Nah, maybe £1,000 though xx

Hey welcome to the site and really wish i had something old and rare to get listed in the mag but i was stupid when i was a kid and always traded all my games in for the next console. If only i still had all my NES and SNES games and systems as they were all mint.

I wish I could be in the magazine too, but sadly I've not got anything you'll be too interested in :( I have a bunch of still mint/near mint boxed retro consoles (Atari, N64, Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Sega Mega Drive II) and some mint in box retro games (some for Atari and some for N64, a bunch of Dreamcast) but nothing too special :( xx

Sorry for the misunderstanding, meant to say $10,000. I've seen the game sell around $8,000 - $9,000 (PS3 Version).

I may get mine VGA graded, but its going to be really expensive because of the surface space.

I would say no more than $900 max for Fallout 3 survival edition for both PS3 and Xbox.

PC would be less.

All I have are Gamecube games and I don't think they are old enough.

That's what I was thinking Gee, just because on Amazon it's listed as $8,000 doesn't mean it's worth that :haha: xx

I have a lot of old PC games, but not sure if you want console games? I have some sealed collector's editions from the 90's but also the original Fallout 1 and 2 in the Big Box formats that are still sealed, plus lots lots more!

Yep, the prizes in amazon are crazy, but people are actually buying. I should have bought 3 of of them when it released. I didn't realize they were going to be this valuable.

Really - How do you know they are selling for this price.

I'm shocked that anyone would pay $1000 for it, never mind $8000. Crazy world we live in.

Well I have just recently bought the xbox 360 version for $300 and its new sealed,so i am inclined to agree with gurps as too its true value, and i also noticed a few more new ones go for around $300-$400 before christmas, but some people do have money to burn and will pay crazy prices for certain games,so you never can tell:think:

I would just like to promote this thread a little so that it gets the coverage it deserves, and have made this a sticky topic

If anyone feels that they have a unique collection that they would like to share and talk about, then please post below with details about what you collect, and preferably a link to your collection thread :)

You haven't seen it sell for that amount, you've seen it advertised at that price.

VGA fallout $1500

TBH I'll be surprised if sells for that
