Hi all! ^o^

First I'll start off with my name. I'm James. :D

Been lurking here for about a month now and admiring other people's collections and you guys all have some awesome stuff. Things I have never even seen before. I have always liked buying Collectors editions of games over the standard ones. Like the little extras you get with them and I pretty much thought it ended at CE's and preorder items. Until I come across this site, I didn't even realise that media personnel sometimes got cool kits to promote the game. Have seen some press kits which make the Collector's editions seem pathetic!! XD Has made me seriously think about what I'm going to be buying in the future! :D

Anyway, I finally got round to taking some pictures of the things I have to hand to share with your guy's. :D I've put them in an album on photobucket and will try and add to it when I can! :D

Abit about me and what I collect. Tbh, the only "specific" thing I collect now, is Zelda related merchandise. Looking to expand on what I have. Don't have any of the old console games anymore... :( Being a kid when I had them, it was a play it, finish it, trade it in attitude. Oh how I would change that now, if I could... lol If you'd have asked me a few years ago, I could've told you Xbox faceplates. Now my collection of them has deminished quite abit, but I kept a few I liked! :D I still have more around which aren't in pictures, but the ones you'll see are my favourites! ^o^

Also, I'm an open and play it kinda guy. Can't bare to spend so much money on things and keep them in the packaging. Don't intend to sell my stuff at a later date, so might aswell enjoy it! :D

You guy's will prob see me around a fair bit and hope to do some buying from you all in the future, when I have cash!! XD

I actually got those really cheap a few years ago when I went mad on Faceplates. I only paid £25 for the set with free p&p. ^o^ Shame they never came in a nice display box or something... :(

There was 1 more which I was meaning to get and that was the Trusty Bell one from Japan, but it was really expensive!! >.<

You have the Twilight Princess statue! I'm scraping together all the points I can find to get that gorgeous thing! SS lanyard, signature of the great Miyamoto, and the Ocarina pack! Very jealous indeed, I love it, I look forward to seeing more! :D

Yeah the TP statues is really nice! Looks a lot better when you've got it than what photos can do it justice! Lol I saw your thread earlier and I notice you like to keep your stuff new and sealed. If you do manage to get the points together to get one, take it out and check it over, because I got 2 broken ones before I got a good one! >.< Makes me wonder what Nintendo will have done with the 2 broken ones... 0.o

I'm currently saving for this (https://www.first4figures.com/component/option,com_myphp/Itemid,3/product,92/). I'm afraid I might not be able to get £200 together before it comes out. Its top of my priority list ATM... :-(

Funny story with that DSL! I picked it up in a store just before Christmas and while trying to verify its authenticity, I stumbled across this site. Took a liking to it and decided to stay! Lol

I think those statues are so lovely but probably not something I'll be moving on to collecting until I've got my own house and somewhere to actually display them without fear lol I'll probably be getting the cheaper sealed games first then saving for the more expensive ones

Yeah the F4F range are really nice, but they're so expensive! >.< Wallet is hurt everytime they bring out a new one, but I kinda look forward to it... lol I have them all so far, but you'll notice that I don't have a picture of my Fierce Deity Link. He unfortunately suffered a fracture last time he was dismantled... :facepalm: The design for the way his sword is attached was really bad and quite easy to damage if you're not careful... -_-'

Yeah, it was in an independent retailer where I frequent regularly. He sells trading cards, movie character figures and toys. He's recently started buying and selling preowned games. Anyway, I was in the city centre going to sell my old 3DS and swung by his store before I went to CEX and I spotted it priced up at £75! Asked him if he'd buy my Blue 3DS with Zelda 3D and he offered me £105 for it. I asked him if he'd give me that DSL and £40 for it and he did!! XD Was Christmas come early for me! lol

My Link on Epona Statue landed today and it is gorgeous! :D Was worth every penny. Also added bonus, I got the number I requested so I have number 190 of all 3 Twilight Princess Statues released by F4F to date! :D Still mad at them for increasing the edition size of the statue though... :rant:

Was well impressed with the condition of this considering it's 20 years old! :D i don't think the cartridge has even made it into a console, because there's not a mark on it and the contents are in great shape as you can see! :D

Also got Dead Rising 2 Zombrex Edition for xbox which was in surprisingly good condition! lol Pics are in my album! :P

If anybody knows any more about it, that'd be cool, because all I know about it is that I was given it by the store manager at Gamestation when I went in and purchased my Halo Reach console and Legendary Edition on Launch. Nobody else I know got one and I haven't seen one online either, so I dunno... :S

I got them off ebay a few years ago. Got them very cheap £25incl p&p for the full set. Nobody had bid on them, yet for the months before when I was trying to get them individually, they were going for about that each... :S

They were pre-order bonuses in the states for Eternal Sonata (obviously) and you were given one faceplate with your game. Not sure whether you go to choose or not! lol

I love em. They're prob my favourite Faceplates! :D Just need to get the Jap Trusty bell Faceplate to go with them! lol

Cheers Flash! ^o^ Yeah, there are loads of beautiful faceplates around, but some of them are very hard to come by and can be VERY expensive! >.< That's why I sold of alot of them. Was too expensive to keep collecting them. Gonna refrain from going mad on steelbooks too! XD

Thanks! :D Yeah, I made one after spending sometime here, but stopped bumping it as I never got round to it. >.< The only reason most of them is in albums is because I was taking individual pics of the stuff I had and didn't want to clog up pages with loads of massive pics, so as well as uploading to album, I will also bump group pics of things I pick up and then people can view albums at their pleasure! :D

Got the AC tin and PoP box from CEX. Already had AC tin, but mine has some dents in it. This one was mint! Was just missing the contents. Comic, CoA and Bonus DVD. Had a PC copy of the game in instead. Already got the contents anyway, so wasn't that arsed! lol

PoP box is complete from what I can see. Had a copy of the game for PC with it too.

Hyrule Historia came from amazon this morning! ^o^ Was very quick considering it was only dispatched last night. Selected free super saver too, was a nice surprise! ^o^

Will take more pics of the book later. :D Is massive in comparison to the Jap Hyrule Historia though. REALLY hope that FP come through with the limited book!!! :beg:

What do you mean the smaller one? o.0 The smaller Hyrule Historia is the Jap 25th Anniversary book and I assume it's exactly the same as the English one, but in Japanese! XD Can't read Japanese, but it has lots of pretty pictures! :P

If you mean the Wizard's Companion book, that is also in Japanese and will be staying sealed as I have no reason to open it as I'll be getting an English one on Friday with my Wizard's Ed. :D

Yeah, I reckon it will have some pretty pics in! :D I'm looking forward to getting my Wizard's Ed this week, even though it is only the PAL version! :D Would still love an NTSC copy.

I don't know yet. I haven't decided. It will all depend on whether we get a free board again. Also, my mum is paying for this set for me and will be stopping it at issue 32, so it will all depends on whether I decide to continue with the subscription myself. Also, I haven't seen any pics of the set 2 yet, so will want to see pics before I commit to continuing.

Still got my fingers crossed for for a carry case for the pieces. It's a pain in the ass taking the pieces out of their boxes. >.<
