What was YOUR first ever CE?

I can't remember my first ever CE, but I can remember my first CE of the current gen. It was the Gears of War Tin, Forza 2 and Bioshock CE with the Big Daddy! :D I got them all on the same day, GoW & Bioshock were preowned and I bought Forza new... lol

I think I never had any CE when I was younger. So my first CE was the Assassin's Creed II white Edition which I bought used from a German trading forum. That's when it all began.

Well anyway, since I am here: My first CE would be the Kingdom Under Fire CE. I got into collecting in the seventh generation (Xbox 360/PS3/Wii), and Circle of Doom was one of the first games I played. :)

lol I did this too!! XD I sold about 5 to my local CEX before they told me I couldn't sell them anymore because they realised what was going on! lol It was during the run up to Christmas that year. Good times! :D

My Wife's (girlfriend at the time) boss bought everyone in their office a copy, I loved the metal case so much that I decided to buy all of the metal case games for Xbox 1... which eventually came to include Doom 3, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, and True Crimes NY... I carried this into the 360 generation with Perfect Dark Zero. When Oblivion was announced I decided I would expand to all CEs, not just metal case ones... and soon after that I decided to open this site since I couldn't find any good online resources for CE games.

I am actually having a tough time remembering what my first ever CE was... I may have said it previously on here (like when I first joined as that's when I started collecting roughly) but I have no idea now, all my purchases seem to have merged into one! :rotf:

My boyfriend's first ever CE was Gears of War 2 Limited Collector's Edition, but that was before he collected, he just had it years ago so it's not in the best of condition - we keep meaning to pick another one up, but something else always catches our eye :P xx

No, she works in an animal hospital. She just has a cool boss who buys great gifts for Christmas bonuses. A few years back he bought everyone Uncharted Bundle PS3s, and this year he bought them iPad 2s.

Hmm, now there's a question!

My initial response would probably be "Halo 2" off the top of my head, but if I really think about it I am sure I must have had some kind of LE or CE before this, possibly for the PS2...

However, I'm old enough to remember various SNES CE's in the stores (Super Metroid and Zelda: A Link To The Past, for example). I also vaguely remember passing up the FFVIII and Metal Gear Solid CE's, and also the Lylat Wars big box, as they were far beyond my budget as a teenager at the time, so I know I never grabbed those

I'm thinking it may actually be The House Of The Dead II with the official Dreamcast gun. I can't think of any special LE's or CE's that are older than that, although I have since bought many older ones more recently (such as the Grand Theft Auto Limited Edition with sountrack, sealed)
