View Full Version : Assassin's Creed 1 CE-Does this small difference matter?

What up you guys? Hopefully I'm posting in the right place for this. I have come across two AC1 Limited Editions. The first and 3rd pics are of the North American one I believe. The 2nd and 4th pics are of a French version I believe? Last two pics, NA version is on left and French version is on right. Either way, they have the same content but the exterior sleeve has 2 languages on one, and the other has one language. This may seem like a dumb question but I am anal retentive and I truly don't know. Is one better to have than the other? Like will one retain value better? I would assume that the one that has the french language on it AND English might be slightly more rare, but I'm not sure. Just wondering what all you crazy pro's out there thought. Any input or am I just over thinking it? :scratch: Thanks!

One is from USA (english), the other from canada (french-english), I don't see the rarity. :shrug:

Yeah, I gathered about that much. I'm not saying either are rare. :) I'm just kinda wondering if there is a difference from a collector's standpoint. Is one better than the other for any reason that might be eluding me. I'm gonna get rid of one of them and keep the other so that's why I was wondering. Just curious. Guess there's really no difference other than a little different ink on the exterior sleeve. hehe

Like you said, the only difference is the language. Don't go crazy about this, keep the one you like most... or keep both ;) lol

But generally, there's no difference between the american and canadian versions

Gotcha, thanks again. Now. . . I wonder I delete this thread. Or rename it for another purpose? hmmmm Gotta look into if this is an option.
