That Insane Edition is sweet! I hope this gets announced for the UK market, and not just limited to the German-side of Europe. I'm guessing a UK announcement is due soon, as I can't see there not being an elaborate CE for us for this game

I hope they plan to make our CE the same, and not give us another different CE...

well game austrailia have it up for pre order but does not list the content, ubisoft rarely release a game without there being an se availible so odds on it will happen

There is a very little chance this will be quite as limited as those two. But this edition is looking very good indeed. Just need a price.

Many Collector's Editions are promoted using Photoshoped or CG images.

Everyone remember Crysis 2 Nano edition, the bag looked very different to the actual item received.

I find it hard to believe that store create listing of fake items, they get heir information from the publisher after all. Not from News sites.

Not quite sure how the bobblehead fits into the package, as it's an awkward shape that clearly wouldn't be a part of the fabric toolkit wrap. My guess is that the bobblehead will be individually packed in its own box, and the whole bundle inside a larger box. I imagine the toolkit to be roughly the size of the Fable III / Soul Calibur V CE's

its just an eb exclusive edition. They are using the same steel book that is the pre order bonus from the insane edition, and putting it into this edition.

Just means that the steel book will be easier to get.

You know,you make a good point. If you look at the Insane version
the steelbook isnt in the pic of the contents,its just listed as a bonus
pre-order item. In the pic of the Wish You Were Here edition its in the
pic of the contents of the game but also listed as a pre-order bonus.
To all intents & purposes if you base it on the pics you get a steelbook
for pre-ordering the game as well as a steelbook inside this particular
edition. I thinks somebody needs to ring them or go in & have a little
talk to someone at EB Games. I will be anyway but,someone might
beat me to it. To me,its looking like you might be up for two steelbooks
if you order this particular edition.

i have seen some better unboxings for it in the past couple hours and the ce looks about the same qaulity, still picked up a pre-order for 44 notes, so its not too bad, the game retails at 39.99 the ce 49.99 so all they are asking is another ten for the extra content and dlc

Hi Guys,

My copy of Far Cry 3 Insane Edition arrived today. I must say I was quite pleased for getting it so early but unlike FC2 which came in a good quality wooden box, this one comes in a flimsier cardboard box...Unforutnately it also wasn't packaged very well and the box is slightly creased/dented. Maybe I'm being a bit fussy but spending near on ?50 for a special edition, they should have packaged it a bit better! Anyway, I hope you guys don't mind me posting photos below. p.s. how come so few shops have this for pre-order? And anyone know why would it arrive 3 days earlier than release? (not that I'm complaining but wonder how many of you would send it back if the box was slightly damaged/creased).

If who you helped ordered Wish you were Here with the thought of an extra steelbook you in all probabilty will not get it,its unfortunately as simple as that. If,your a regular or complain loudly enough you may get lucky & snag the extra steelbook. It has honestly taken me months of bs to make sure everyone who ordered through me gets the extra steelbook

I had it preordered in May but Zavvi screwed me and so I've ordered from UbiShop but it's still at "Order in Process" and so I'm losing hope that I'll get it from them although I really, really hope it goes through.

Well gutted when my UK pre-order got damaged. Sent it back, but just got refunded, as no more stock available, despite what I was told on the phone. Germany is the only other option. Cheers!

Thanks a lot! Even xbox seems to have dual language option. I'll chance it and import from Amazon.de. I don't mind German and apparently the "Deutsche Synchro" is pretty good, but I'd like the original dub too.

I can feel your pain. I only ever pre-ordered two LE's. Play.com's MGS4 and Far Cry 3 Insane and had issues with both (lost or damaged without a replacement). Seems like Hardcore collectors have to start pre-ordering two copies every time.

It's not insanely expensive if you do what i did yesterday and order it direct from the ubishop. Got the PS3 version for ?49.99 because i had a ?10 discount voucher from Assassins Creed III CE.

Just a heads up cos if you happen to have one of those vouchers then it could be bargain of the year :bananayes:

Shopto, on the other hand, still have them advertised but when you try to buy it says "Sold out" or words to that effect.

What I noticed about the insane edition which was region dependent was, in some regions the game, the survival guide and the ULC were already placed in the individual compartments within the survival pouch when you bought it. (And I don't think the survival pouch was sealed either). In my UK version the Survival guide was loose and unsealed, the pouch was sealed and the ULC came inside the sealed game.
