Hi guys, in a moment of pure existentialist reflection, I was wondering, if anybody ever had a number 1 limited item.
Like the Dead Space Ultra number 1 on 1000.
I mean, we're probably on the biggest site dedicated to video games collecting, there are a lot of members, with a lot of amazing collections and super rare items, I spend quite some time on ebay and other sites, and I've never ever seen a number one, or last, or cool like 500 or 999.
I suspect that these particular numbers are given to the staff, or the press, or whatever that isn't the regular circuit.

You should check official forums for that

"#1 resides in the front office lobby of Gearbox Software HQ"
"The Xbox 360 BoS edition that was unboxed on stage during Gearbox Community day was #5"
"Joe Siegler from Gearbox has #89 (Xbox360, VERIFIED) [ Link ], and George Broussard from 3D Realms has #88 (Xbox360)"
Two employees have following numbers, which clearly indicates that low numbers are given to the staff, hence we, the normal people, can't get our hands on them.
I'm not criticizing by the way, it seems rather normal to me.
Thanks for the link Madigan, it confirms what I thought.
And, do you live in Buenos Aires?
@ Robalvarez2010 : Well, having the number 1 on a unique item seems pretty logic to me! :D
You're lucky to own them, it must be very satisfactory to have such unique items in your collection.

Yeah I got the 001/200 of Emily before I sold it recently.
Most of the others it's hard to say what I have because they are sealed.

I don't suppose you'd ever consider selling or trading one?

I would consider if the price was really good. I already placed one for sale on ebay once but I asked an outrageous price to see how the offers would be but no offer was made and I gave up on selling it. I guess the price scared everyone away - I know I would be scared :D
It's not something I'd like to get rid of.
