I work part time and after after monthly food shop, Bills ETC
all 100% of my disposable income goes on CE's which is like 200GBP
I just wondered how much others spent on collecting

[joke]
and also how we are all hoarders and have a mental condition that there is no cure for
[ /joke]
well that's how some people see it

varies month to month, i dont go out of my way to get anything to expensive, but november is usually the most expensive of the year for me about ?280 going on ce and that is prob the most i can afford any given month.

Me and my boyfriend spend probably 95-100% of our disposable income on CEs each month.

Probably less in the earlier months of the year where there are less expensive CEs due out, but the least we spend on CEs per month is probably around ?200 (GBP).

For an example, last month (from September 1st, to September 30th) our CE expenditure - only including preorders, there were other CE purchases made on top of this - we spent ?634.

Most months of the year, we couldn't really afford to spend that much, so I budgetbudgetbudget my ass off, to ensure that in the busy months, we can afford as much as possible.

That mostly went to shit this year though, so aiming to do better next year so I can make sure I don't miss out on much :) xx

634 only includes what preorders we bought in September, there was around another 300 on top of that for other CE related purchases (maybe more).

Also, just remembered that that was also with me cancelling most of my early September items and losing out on quite a bit of my September spending money as I was at Gamescom in August :haha: So cancelled a lot of stuff to take spending money :D

This month, my preorder money is similar, around 700ish.

Between now (17th October) and Christmas, I've got around ?1650 worth of preorders to pay for (again, not including other CE purchases that aren't preorders) xx

Yeah but one of Gavs console could cost more than I spend in a year and he buys atleast one a month.

For the past 2 months I spent a total of $2200 on the esc uncharted drake figures. This month and November I am going to spend another $2925 on esc drake figures as well. I don't collect any other collectors items just uncharted. But I think the most expensive month for me will be this December because esc is releasing some very rare drake figures about 5 of them.

I think i spend at least 500 euro every month, november might go up to around 1000 (of which half is assassins creed).

You guys and gals are making me feel a little better about my expenditure :)
I spend a fair bit but wouldnt be as much as some of what im reading.
This last couple of months has been big with a lot of Assassins creed iii stuff, plus books and blu rays.
This month have spent approx. $916 that's australian dollars, which would be around 584 uk pound.
Plus i still have around another $351 Aus dollars to spend during the rest of this month and next month.
But after that will be taking a big break i think.
In fact after adding this up i may cancel a couple of pre-orders as this amount scares me :-/

My normal months are no where near this amount by the way, some months may only be like $100 - $150 AUD, which would be like 63-95 uk pound...

I dont have a job but I have a saving I use. So I have to resist myself from buying sometimes except AC or Uncharted series comes out, I have to get it :D
After AC 3 releases, I'm practically done for 2012.

Yeah I am a sucker for any AC, Uncharted or Final Fantasy releases, I collect all of those.
Uncharted I dont really collect much, just the special edition of game and CE Strategy guide, left it at that.
Final fantasy i get like all the versions of the game, both softcover and hardcover strategy guides and
Assassins creed, get best version of game, in the case of AC3 getting 2, the ubiworkshop and Freedom edition, get the hard and softcover strategy guides for all and i like the figurines.
I also have all the Rockstar game releases and guides, like GTA, RDR, La noire etc.
There are too many cool things to collect, i collect Blu rays, special edition CDS like Pink Floyd Immersion sets etc

Since i'm only 14 I spend all of my money on CE games however because I have no job I only spend around $300AUD a month. However now that I am budgetting for pre-orders some months it can be much more if there are a lot of releases.

I was also on the rich end of the pocket money spectrum, I got 80 gbp a week pocket money (between the ages of 14-17), and the last week of the month, I'd get an extra 40. (Although that extra 40 eventually disappeared as my mum bought me a MacBook).

Those days are long gone now though :P :rotf:
