I don't think you should give up and I DON'T think you should be using their "customer service" phone #. This CAN be corrected. There is no reason for your account to be blocked or payment methods if your not actually committing fraud. Try email and/or LIVE chat on the site (Think they have that). Don't just give up and be content w/ never ordering from them again...
