I honestly don't know whether there was a limited run number, but it was a limited run. It was sold to celebrate the opening of the Pokémon Centre in NYC, which is now the Nintendo World Store. It's very nice.
Besides being opened for inspection, I don't think it has ever been used. It's very nice. ^o^
Another Gold console to add to my ever increasing collection of gold Nintendo consoles. XD Not that I'm specifically collecting gold consoles, but most of the Zelda ones so far have been gold. lol
