F4F CS used to be really good around 10-12 years ago. Albeit, they were a little slow in sorting issues when first raised, but always had my issues resolved to a satisfactory outcome with little resistance. When I say slow, I mean real slow. It took 2 and a half years to sort out an issue with my Wolf Link & Midna Statue, where the Midna piece had broken, then the replacement Midna piece had also arrived with me broken. It also took around 18 months for my Ganondorf Statue to be sorted too. There was a hairline fracture on the sword which I complained about, but it got replaced to a satisfactory outcome.
However, only last year, I had an issue with the paint finish on one of the spikes on my Majora's Mask. The paint defect "fell within their tolerances" and didn't warrant a replacement. It took some arguing with them to get this resolved, only for the replacement piece to have blisters/ bubbling in the resin. Don't get me wrong, the whole thing was resolved in less than a month in the end, but I shouldn't have to go through so much trouble to get an item replaced. I had to record a video of the item, highlighting the defect, along with the COA for my item and send it to them. Pictures were not enough it seems...

I was less than impressed. Here's an image of the blistering of the second item. Don't have the originally images for the first one still, only got the video which has my COA on, so won't be posting.

I have to say, their QC is not as up to standard as it used to be. Since their edition sizes and popularity has increased, and their fanbase has increased, the quality of their product has definitely gone down, IMO.

They weren't like that in the past, they used to be ok with replacements. Alex said he is trying to improve on CS but from what I see it's not going better. I believe lots of people cancelled statues because of that.

That's another issue entirely, because of the lengthy pre-order period for F4F items, you will be lucky if you are still within the charge-back period for your card provider by the time that you receive the item. For example, I have already finished paying for my Shiranui Statue, but still have yet to receive it. I think it was completed payment in May.

Charge-back period for most major credit card provider is typically 180 Days.
Looking forward to seeing what the next Zelda statue release will be. Have got $375 reward credit to use...
