I got charge backs done 6 months after my purchase.
Granted, that because of the company i have a very good relationship with them at the bank/cc company, so maybe that helps

In all fairness, when I complained about the item, I was advised that it needed to be fit into the manufacturing schedule and they estimated my wait time for a replacement. I was given the option of a partial refund, but opted against it.
