What you have is the NORMAL edition of the game. This is how the game was released. The reason the box is so thick is that there is a guide book inside. So it's game+guidebook inside a cardboard box.

No, thank you for the clarification! Regardless, it's a beauty of an item and I'm sure it will find a buyer soon, especially given its condition. When I came across it, I figured it was not too easy to find, and wanted to add it to my collection. Am very flexible with the price of course (accepting best offers).
