Dirt 3 has a $300 CE Bundle

Gamestop USA recently added Dirt 3 to their pre-order list. The Xbox 360 and PS3 also have a "Ken Block Gymkahana RC Car" bundle version of the release. The real shocker is that it's listed to cost a whopping $300 for the bundle.

Currently a company called Traxxas makes a Ken Block Fiesta RC car. This is a high quality car made for RC Car enthusiasts, and it retails for just under $300. So Here's hoping that the car in the GameStop Bundle is the Traxxas model... either that or it's a typo.

Either way Dirt 3 is due out on May 24th so we wont have long to wait to find out.

OMG - $300, is this the most expensive edition yet.

although even if the price is right, it nothing more than two separate item.

The car is not a limited edition nor does it have any special connection to the game. Not eve logos.

If this comes in one box then this might be worth it but if two separate items, well I would seriously think twice about getting this. Even if you have deep enough pockets.

Do we think this is going to be uniquely packaged (Like COD Black Ops), or just a piece of related merchandise bundled together with a standard copy of the game (Think Tony Hawk's Project 8 with skateboard, or Gears Of War 2 with gold replica Lancer gun)?

It sounds as if it may just be an RC car sold alongside the game for a bargain price, where the car is available separately, unlike Black Ops where the RC car is part of the box set
