Dirt 3 has a $300 CE Bundle
Gamestop USA recently added Dirt 3 to their pre-order list. The Xbox 360 and PS3 also have a “Ken Block Gymkahana RC Car” bundle version of the release. The real shocker is that it’s listed to cost a whopping $300 for the bundle.
Currently a company called Traxxas makes a Ken Block Fiesta RC car. This is a high quality car made for RC Car enthusiasts, and it retails for just under $300. So Here’s hoping that the car in the GameStop Bundle is the Traxxas model… either that or it’s a typo.
Either way Dirt 3 is due out on May 24th so we wont have long to wait to find out.

OMG - $300, is this the most expensive edition yet.
although even if the price is right, it nothing more than two separate item.
The car is not a limited edition nor does it have any special connection to the game. Not eve logos.
If this comes in one box then this might be worth it but if two separate items, well I would seriously think twice about getting this. Even if you have deep enough pockets.

Do we think this is going to be uniquely packaged (Like COD Black Ops), or just a piece of related merchandise bundled together with a standard copy of the game (Think Tony Hawk's Project 8 with skateboard, or Gears Of War 2 with gold replica Lancer gun)?
It sounds as if it may just be an RC car sold alongside the game for a bargain price, where the car is available separately, unlike Black Ops where the RC car is part of the box set

well... the car IS on the cover of the game box and it DOES have a "DiRT3" logo on the front bumper.
my plan: pre-order it, on release day if it's not bundled together, cancel the pre-order and get my money back.

If I may add when i check Traxx webby, it lists the car's price as $500 so this one is a steal deal, IMHO!

well guys have gamestop giving any more details on this..is it going to be boxed all together or is this going to be another vanquish edition
$300, surely there cant be that many of those at this absurd price?
I hope for collectors sake this doesnt end up being one of those over-produced, half-off sale items in a couple months... doubt it at this price point. (although personally I wouldnt mind getting it on the cheap :p)

Play-asia have listed the game, images have also bee listed. It has the normal box so this more than confirms it just an normal bundle a not an unique special bundle package.
