Smile Greetings from the West Coast of Canada, eh!

Hello, I mostly collect videogame art books of all sorts!

I try and stay away from the Collectors Edition versions of most games as they only contain the tiny rectangle books and it is not worth the time to invest collecting.

The majority of my collection are the large, coffee table art books. I'm attempting to replace my softcover copies with hardcover limited editions but that takes an excruciating amount of time and money; but it's happening and I'm quite excited!

Pictured below Is part of my collection, a have many more arriving in the next few weeks! I'll be updating with pictures, etc, when I've got more time. Until then, enjoy building your collections, cheers!

I've got to say it's a close top 3 tie between:

Earthbound Player's Guide Although not a traditional art book, the clay figures, fake news and advertisements, and writing just make it too entertaining.

Half-Life 2: Raising the Bar Such an informative look at the history of Valve, the Half-Life series, and how much pressure was daunting them in creation of a worthy sequel.

The Art of Blizzard Entertainment I mean, Blizzard has some of the best in the business, you can never go wrong with that.

In the coming days I'll be receiving a still sealed copy of Bluecanvas God of War: Ascension Art Book (As well as a bunch more books) It was hard not adding the God of War 2 or God of War 3 art books to my top 3, but i believe the Ascension book will be up there.

Art book dedicated collections are generally pretty uncommon, so it's always nice to see a serious one. Thanks for sharing.

No problem, thanks for taking a look! Hoping to get more pictures posted in the next few days when more items arrive. I've followed Parkablogs for a LONG time, and I've very much enjoyed the quick reviews and previews that he's done regarding art books. I'm planning on doing a similar setup with my books on YouTube so that people can see that games can be regarded as art, and that the amount of work put into design is not as easy as people assume; as well I know people appreciate the collectibles as well as a good in depth look at the book without having to purchase said books, haha!

Welcome here! That God of War artbook is awesome, you won't regret getting it.
Congrats with these Darksiders artbooks! Are they the hardcover or the paperback versions?

The Darksiders artbooks I have on the shelf are both the softcover versions; the hardcover are somewhere safe for now, haha.

Yea, the GoW: Ascension book looks amazing, it actually just arrived along with a few others below.

Art of Final Fantasy slipcase, Assassins Creed 3 and Unity titan LE's, and Mirrors Edge LE art book (I found this for 29.99 and instantly bought it)

Starcraft Field Guide and League of Legends Vol 1

Art of Tombraider duo and GoW Ascension (Added a pen for size reference)
