Its exactly what it states on the sticker,a prototype console. Most likely sent to perhaps a game developer for testing purposes of games to be released,possibly to a US testing department for compliance purposes or perhaps basically like a salesman sample. What you have is simply one of the first PS3 consoles made before official production & release of the console to the general public. Normally anything for Dev has something on there that states this but,not all the time. These were never packaged in boxes like you see in the stores,just the console in a standard packing box was sent to whereever. Nice to have & nice to look at knowing this was one of the first to be made before joe public could buy them

Heres one from the slightly old archives. Whats the Max Payne 3 bullet pen worth,new in original box etc?? I know they werent very common to begin with & i think some places even cancelled them totally because of the whole shaped like a bullet,looks like a bullet & weighs the same as one. Any price indicator of value would be appreciated. Thanks

I have two of them as a gift for preorder, they really are heavy, and high quality made...but mine were for free...but I 'm not sure about the amount in the whole world running around...

Got no idea, and never gave a look to it on ebay to compare the prices...

Had a look through ebay & i cant find any listings for them. Like most pre-order bonuses not everyone gets them & most are usually happy to pay for them,just how much is the question
