I totally agree. The intended design of this version is not even complete as it is missing the sketchings in the four corners of the device like the original Japanese/us versions... I was still considering buying it because it's an XL but thanks to your post, I just realized it is literally just the an original light blue XL with a plastered fire emblem symbol in the middle...

Just changed my mind on this one, because it just looks quite like a simple print. I think they should've better had sticked with the regular 3DS instead.

Yeah we got a preorder artbook in the UK too. It wasn't advertised though. Got mine from GAME UK. Not sure if there are other retailers with this in the UK though.

I'll never understand the logic of having an unadvertised pre-order bonus

They did that as well for the Target Tomb Raider steel

pfft. The US art book is better...

...I'm of course talking outta my ass. The UK artbook, a hardcover at that, is really nice. US got a tiny pamphlet. This is Xenoblade Chronicles SE all over again!

In all fairness I think both artbooks are the same inside. It's not a very big artbook.

It doesn't make up for the fact that we had to wait for 2 whole months longer to get the game and we get a shoddily designed console to boot.

Also, regarding this console, it comes with the game pre-installed on the console. If I was to purchase this and do a content transfer from my old 3DS what would happen to the game seeing as the console gets a full format before content is transferred from the old console to the new one... 0.o
