Yeah, it's really nice! ^o^ It's alot shinier than last years one! XD I was well pleased when I was number 5. Was hoping they would be in sequence and was expecting the other to be a low number too, but alas. >.<

Still, glad to have got them and I didn't have to pay the silly money that I have seen people paying for them post Comic Con. 0.0

But the real question is, how much was the service fee(for their times and troubles)? DUN DUN DUN

Just kidding.

The ships look amazing. Much easier to display than steelbooks

My new Darksiders 2 Death Guitar from the "Summer of Death Sweepstakes", 1 of 5 in the world (only 2 were given out in the contest... although I believe mine to be one of the 3 that were kept by Vigil), it is signed by the founders:

Now that is cool!
Congrats on the pick up

Mmmmh shiny

Nice to hear you got them for a good price

There is most certainly a culture by US VG con attendees that you should be reselling stuff and make money etc.

I remember asking someone selling a SDCC poster I wanted for quite a lot if he was willing to take offers on it

They were trying to selling it for 175 USD when others sold recently for around the 50 USD mark

His response?

Cost of the ticket for the con is around 175USD so this should cover that

Right because that's how you should think about it

No value from the convention itself

Yeah definitely easier to display that steelbooks! XD Assuming you want your steelbooks front facing. lol Mine are all on a floating shelf!

The total cost for the ships was $140 for the 2, which I was happy to pay. I don't mind paying somebody a little bit for their time, but I'm not paying double the mark price for items just because I'm unfortunate enough to not be able to make it to the con.

As I said above, $140 for the 2. The mark price was $50 each, so I thought it was a great price.

Makes me sick when people are charging such outrageous prices for stuff like that. >.< Why should I have to pay for you to have a good time somewhere I can't go myself?

What makes me even more sick is the mindless fans that encourage this kind of behaviour by paying such stupid prices. >.<

Yes, I really wish I could display all the different ones front facing..but of course that's the impossible dream

Wow thats a great price.
Basically $20 extra isn't bad at all for a limited item.
And yeah, I don't mind paying a bit extra for the items that aren't easy to get, but I was referring to our SDCC friend who wants about 1000% of the original price lol.

Congrats again on the pickup!

Yeah, I wasn't going to pay that! XD It was quite amusing to see hi trying to justify his prices in his thread though. Just got torn apart!! XD

Yeah, very cheap. That was on a pre-sale too! ^o^ Was originally going to wait until the post SDCC hype had died down and pick one up. Glad I didn't now seeing the prices of the 2 currently on ebay. 1 2
