There is also Battlefield 3 (The one from Gamestop in the US) and Tales of Xillia, and Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost (Asia Metalpack version). There are probably others, too.

Yep...both Barman Origins Metalpaks comes G2... Collector's Edition one and Amazon.de too...

Any idea why Amazon UK is not sending the Metalpack pre-order version of Thief to the US? They ship games here, so I'm not sure why this one is causing a fuss.

Amazon UK usually puts a block on new game releases for shipping to the US. Eventually the block will get lifted. You just have to keep checking on it.

I wasn't aware that they do that. I guess I've never tried to pre-order from them before.

What you could do is have it shipped to someone in the UK and have them foward it to you.

the only thing would be double shipping cost and also twice of the amount of probable damage to the steelbook :X

It would also be even more because Amazon is one of the only UK retailers that takes the VAT charge off when shipping items to the US. So I would be paying the full price--VAT included--the initial shipping, the secondary shipping, and all the extra risk. I'm definitely just waiting for it to be able to be sent here lol.

Amazon UK still has it locked out for US orders!! They have got to change that--maybe they won't until it's no longer a pre-order...

Yes I got it here in NZ. It wasn't the steel case as advertised thank the gods. The picture is alot darker on the steel than the one advertised and it comes with an outer cardboard wraparound. Oh and my region 4 ps4 version's dlc for "The Bank Heist" is still duddded. Sony haven't unlocked it yet. Something most users whom buy alot of CEs here like I do which come with alot of dlc would have noticed on shipping day with alot of their beloved purchases: DLC commonly do not work until Sony get around to opening them up so the codes can finally be used. Still I'm enjoying the game. See you on the rooftops...
