Amazon UK usually puts a block on new game releases for shipping to the US. Eventually the block will get lifted. You just have to keep checking on it.

I wasn't aware that they do that. I guess I've never tried to pre-order from them before.

What you could do is have it shipped to someone in the UK and have them foward it to you.

the only thing would be double shipping cost and also twice of the amount of probable damage to the steelbook :X

It would also be even more because Amazon is one of the only UK retailers that takes the VAT charge off when shipping items to the US. So I would be paying the full price--VAT included--the initial shipping, the secondary shipping, and all the extra risk. I'm definitely just waiting for it to be able to be sent here lol.
