I know I never thought they'd make this either! I couldn't believe they had made Zant before Zelda >.< True Form Midna would be a really nice addition to this line. I really must pick up Ganondorf and Wolf Link now. I have Link on Epona but due to Epona, Link is massively scaled down which is disappointing

Really surprised that there isn't an "exclusive" edition though, especially with such a large run on the standard edition - would've loved an smaller run size exclusive, but I'll take what I can get

Tbh I'm glad there's not an exclusive for her. I can't imagine they could have done much different tbh and if they did what they did with the Link on Epona, I just think it would ruin her tbh.

True, as I was typing that I was trying to imagine what they'd do - couldn't really do another face/head, and though people may want a different dress/outfit, you can't really easily switch that out, could've possibly given her a different weapon and headdress or something - and yeah, bronzing her wouldn't look good either, so its probably for the best.

I don't think a head swap would work so the only other thing they could do is a different base, perhaps a light up one of some sort. She doesn't use any other weapon except for light arrows/bow which could look pretty awesome. Or the arm was detachable and you could have her holding up her hand with the triforce piece of wisdom on it. That'd be pretty cool.

I do kind of want an exclusive version purely because 2500 is a massive edition for a statue of this size. Zelda is popular but I would have thought Link would have been the most popular and the Link on Eponas haven't even sold out :/

Yeah - according to their FB page they said they aren't going to do that, but hey, you never know?

With the Darunia incident F4F Suffered a lot of backlash for that and they did say that it wouldn't be done again. With Darunia though, the Sage base was allegedly the original design which they planned for him and since they were continuing manufacturing of the remainder of the original Darunia set, they decided to make the exclusive set with the base they originally planned. Im not saying it's acceptable, but still. i quite liked the Sage Darunia! ^^ Still holding hope for OoT sage statues! ^^ Also it was over 12 months since the original release of Darunia and the Exclusive.

Ah, I wasn't that informed about the whole Darunia thing^^;; I can't really see them doing it again but there is still time for an exclusive Zelda to be announced before this one goes on sale.

Also back to the bronze Link on Epona comment from earlier, I disliked it a lot at first but I got one completely by chance when one was really cheap on Ebay (the seller didn't put Zelda in the listing title). When it arrived it actually looked so much better in person than it does in the photos. I'm really pleased I've got the bronze version in the end.

How cheap may I ask? I still plan to get one. Gonna treat myself to one if I get another tax rebate this year.

Well, it was still expensive in a sense, it went for ?150 inc shipping (within UK) but its so damn heavy. He had a Wolf Link and Midna exclusive too which sold for ?200. I wish I had more cash to burn at the time as I would have loved to win that too. Truth be told I didn't even expect to win Link!
