Recently they have been selling for over $100 thanks to Ebay hype. They shouldn't be worth anywhere near that though. They were given to Xbox Live beta testers of which there were a lot. In the past the average price was around $15. I will say at least that the caps are harder to find than the card itself but still doesn't make it worth close to $100 at all.

The memory cards I have were actually used in the development of Xbox Live hence whey they have labels and numbers on them. Each one has an Xbox Live account that is numbered after the number on the card.
