It's also up on Gamingheads with a 500 limited Exclusive. Really want one, but don't want to be juggling 2 lines of statues. >.< Couldn't possibly afford both Mass Effect and Zelda staues. >.<

Pffft so thers an 'exclusive' version as well? Just an extra gun. So really it's limited to 1500.

If the Reaper didn't sell out I doubt this will, but we shall see.

That's it? When will this nonsense stop?

I remember there was a Mario statue, and the exclusive was a separate statue together. How can they legally say there's x number of exclusive statues specifiying the primary one being limited, when the exclusive part is something entirely different?

I really want the new Tomb Raider statue, but I'm on the fence buying it because I don't want to support a company with these shenanigans they pull, specifically the 'limited edition' being a separate arm with a shotgun.

I see it as the extra part being limited to 500 seeing as its the same statue. So yes, I will agree that Garrus himself will be at 1500. Same with the Dragonborn edition they did (flame ver). I find it hard for statues like this to sell out in the first place seeing as they tend to run $300+ per item. For $20 extra you get an additional part which I think is nice.

Anyway, I LOVE Garrus and ordered him early that morning right after reading the email. I went ahead and got the exclusive edition. I'm super pumped for him!

Better than a worse-looking bronzed version, right? They have experimented with drastically different limited versions and they haven't worked out. A minor addition is fine with me.

The reaper doesn't look nearly as good as this and Garrus is a pretty popular character - just look at the price of his play arts figure nowadays.

Huh? I can't even tell what you're mad about. Would it make you feel better if they just limited it to 1500 on one page and said "first 500 preorders get an extra gun"? They have to keep the price somewhat similar while not deviating too much from the original (or else we end up with another bronze ratchet). This isn't exactly a new practice, everyone does it.

Edit: It seems you're caught up in the word "limited" when in fact they are "exclusive" editions - i.e. only sold from gaming heads. They're both limited editions, 1 version to 500, 1 to 1000.

What angers me is how they claim a statue is limited to a 1,000 then sell the same statue with an add-on part as another 'limited' run of 500. That is false advertising and illegal, as they're claiming a statue is limited to a specific amount yet sells more than the claimed number. The extra part is separate therefore the statues quantity is false.
