Kinda surprised that the Tales of Zesteria CE PS4 is still available on pre-order in my area

Mirror Edge Catalyst also still available (210$, what a bargain)

They have also upgraded the OVA from DVD to blu-ray for the EU CE! and apparently each cloth map is unique.

Quote:
You’ll be able to watch it in Japanese or English, with subtitles available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese! We initially announced that the OVA would be a DVD but we decided to upgrade it to Bluray!

Some items are exclusive to the European version of the Collector’s Edition. We’ve included a “Lady of the Lake sanctuary” cloth! It features concept art made with special care where the sides are burned to give the authentic feeling of an ancient map. They’ve been produced using artisanal methods and carefully burned individually! Each map is a unique item

Have got both my US and Euro CEs for this game. They're both very nice. ^o^ I have taken some pictures of the 2 for people who might want to see the difference properly.

Both CEs are similar in size. Packaging is drastically different on both though. 0.0

With the US CE having the more interesting box art.

The US CE is also numbered like the Tales of Symphonia CE was. ^o^

Unfortunately the inner box behind the plastic isn't as sturdy as the UK CE and mine has suffered a crease...

Here's what each CE looks like when opened.

Each CE has a copy of the game in it's own case.

Each CE also has a set of figures, with the boxes having slightly varying artwork on them.

Each CE also has an Artbook. However, the Euro artbook is only 100 pages where the US one is a 154 pages, if I remember rightly.

The thinner book on the left is the US one, believe it or not... o.0

The US CE contains the OVA inside it's own case, where the UK one has it inside the metalpak with the Sound selection CD.

Here is the US steelbook, which contains the Sound selection CD.

Here is the Euro Metalpak containing both the sound selection CD and OVA blu-ray.

Each CE has it's own exclusive item, besides the respective metal cases. THe US CE has a nice set of 8-bit keyrings.

The Euro CE contains a Lady of the Lake Cloth artwork, with an aged and singed effect. Each has been individually burned.

Here is a group shot of all the contents from both CEs.

As a big fan of the Tales franchise I was more than happy to purchase both of these CEs for the excusive items in each. If I had to pick a favourite, I don't think I would be able to. It's nice to get an actual steelbook in the US CE, but I am quite fond of the consistent styling of the metalpaks from the last few Tales CEs.

I like that the US CE is numbered, but I prefer the rigidness of the Euro CE in comparison. The Exclusive items of both CEs are very nice too. ^o^ The fact that the OVA comes in a Blu-ray case in the US CE is neither here nor there for me personally, but some people may beg to differ.

Anyway, I hope this post can help people to make a decision on which CE they might want. I think the US CE has sold out now though... Not sure though. lol
