Read a post on Reddit about someone didn't got 20% discount for Tekken 7 CE, the person contacted support and the supervisor sent him a list of restrictions about the 20% discount, it said the discount doesn't apply to collector's edition and toys.

I've been getting the discount from Amazon just fine all the time, some of the time when the listing was first up, the discount won't show up but it will be discounted a few days later.

I surely hope they are not removing it from CE/LEs. Well, at least Best Buy still has their 20% off and provide release date shipping for most games.

Yah, I was surprised too when I purchased. I looked at the "rules" for their discount. It says CEs not included in discounts. It seems to me they used to be. Sucks. Was reason for going Amazon. Still save on shipping if you prime..but not as good as the 20% off.

Well I called and waited for awhile for them to try and figure it out... then they asked me to wait for an e-mail once they figured it out. But the guy just send what a different department told him to (and it does nothing to answer the actual question I asked).

Hopefully it is just Ken said... the items have yet to be programmed properly to adjust for Prime members and once they change it then it should update. This seems the most likely as Amazon is very pro consumer not to mention they just made a big deal out of this now 20% part of their PRIME policy not too long ago so I just feel it would be completely out of character for them to change that like this.

They have been since they started the 20% off thing not too long ago. Every single CE I have gotten since they started that was 20% off. I think it is just that those listings were just put up and quickly added to the site since they were just announced (so not all benefits are working on those new listings yet).

At least this is what I think, and hope, is happening.


What I am going to do is wait a few days and then update the billing info and it should change/update. I will let you know when and if that works

I read this as "certain CEs" do not apply. This is to cover all non-pre-order games and some outlier CEs. I think...

We will just need to wait a few days. As Ken said this has happened before (actually now that I think if it this happened to me once in the past with a CE but I called and they updated it to the correct amount... and I had ordered it early just as it was listed so I am confident this is the issue, unless they made a secret change which I doubt).

We will know for sure in a few days.

I just checked the Ubisoft store Canada website, and the Gods edition is listed for $179.99 CDN there. On Amazon.ca, it's $159.99 CDN. So maybe Amazon isn't offering the discount because they're already selling the edition at a lower market price?

Can't access the Ubisoft Store USA website from here, but is the listed price there the same price Amazon.com is offering you guys?

The Best Buy GCU still does the discount for CE's. If anyone could post in here when they see the Collector's Edition at Best Buy up, that would be great!
