Thanks a lot! Maybe I'll put it up on ebay then. Since it's so rare, it's very hard to get a good grasp of the value any other way. And people PM'ing med with bids that no one else can see just doesnt seem fair.

I hope ebay can automatically calculate shipping in my country (Sweden), otherwise I have some research to do It's quite heavy and big, so it'll probably cost around 80-90 dollars just for shipping :O

If you use EBAYs shipping deal when creating the auction it automatically calculates off the buyers location. Just make sure your box info is accurate.

Tried to do a test auction at ebay just now, and it didn't work very well from my location. I think I'm going to have to put this thing on hold until I figure out a good way to sell it. Too bad auctions aren't allowed here, seems lika that would be the easiest route to take.

You will sell it here on a heart beat and for a great value if you wish to do so.

Problem is that I don't know what I should ask for it. I don't want to seem greedy, but of course I'd like to get as much as possible for it if I were to sell.
Maybe I should start a sell-thread at a high price, and then drop the price a bit if no one bought it in a couple of days, and do so until I hit a price someone would be willing to pay.

Would this be considered a dick move? I don't really see any other way to properly get a value for it without having an auction (which would be against the rules)

Honestly speaking for what i have seen others selling for i believe $1000 is a realistic number.

But like GameTrigger says you can always make a thread and state some number and then say OBO (or best offer)

Make the buyer pay shipping and insurance for the full amount. Be sure to use the EBAY shipping option when creating your listing, you'll need an accurate weight and dimensions of the box but this ensures any buyer knows what their shipping cost will be and it makes international shipping super easy.

It is actually against eBay ToS to charge a buyer specifically for insurance. All you can do as a seller is include it in the cost of the item or the cost of shipping, but you cannot specify that the buyer must pay for insurance costs.

Personally, I pay for the insurance myself when selling items. It is a couple dollars to keep me protected and I have made multiple insurance claims to USPS (that were paid in full) for damaged items. Someone ends up with a free damaged item and I still have the money I was paid for the item.

Anyone have an idea of pricing?
