With regards to the new G4 size steelbooks, has anybody had their steelbook come with any imperfections and/or defects on them? The steelbook which came with my CE has 2 small dents on the opening edge of it on the rear of the steelbook. See below images. I suspect these are manufacturing defects as they are the same distance from the top and bottom edges (approx 20mm). Just wondering whether anybody else has come across the same? o.0

Hi cosmic,
Mine is fine no dents anywhere, I think you may have just been unlucky.

Damn... I have emailed Scanavo. See if they might do anything about it. If not, I guess I'll have to ebay another steelbook...

Have you ever had any joy emailing them before? I emailed them a couple of year back and never got a reply. Amazon still have it in stock I think - that’s where I got mine. May be cheaper buying it and selling the game/art book ect than it would ebaying a steel.

Yeah, I have emailed them a few times in the past, mainly with general inquiries and have had responses from them. Not sure what kind of response I would get to a genuine issue though. Will have to see what happens. If I buy the game again, it would be the third time purchasing this game! XD Have already purchased both PAL and NA CEs. lol

I feel your pain. My Sword Art Online Hollow Realization CE came in with the steelbook dented. The CE was sold out, so an exchange was impossible. And the prices were ridiculous on Ebay, so I would've lost money even if did a refund of my CE and purchased a new one from there. So I'm stuck with this dented steel lol.

Am I the only one who has never had an issue with dents? My issue is always that my new steelbooks have little pits or other minor finish imperfections.
