If you sent payment as "friends/fa,ily" you cant complain.

Yeah, the seller went missing after I sent him payment. I would recommend anyone else to not send money to this seller until he posts an update here.

I wrote to the email he gave me with no answer. It's obviously a scam. Already started a dispute with paypal.

I sent the money as payment. Just reported the issue on paypal and will wait for the resolution. Not very optimistic because I think he's deleted his paypal account as well. At least he's not showing in my contacts where all other sellers I've bought from are and doesn't appear in seraches as well.

You should NEVER send money via paypal with the "family/friends" option when the seller has no reputation at all.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do now, as soon as there are no paypal fees (like it's the case when using "family/friend") paypal is no longer responsible for the money.

But you should still see the transaction in your paypal history, right? It doesn't matter what the seller did with his account as you're still having buyer protection.
