Thanks for sharing!

Too bad they'll be nearly impossible to get here. Maybe'll pop up on ebay a handful of times for big bucks, but that'll be all...

Actually, box aside, this edition looks a hell of a lot better than the Freedom edition. The medallion is the only other interesting thing, but that isn't even included in the Freedom edition.

The UK editions are the same old stuff. Medallions (Oblivion CE), and a journal (every other CE), and the statue. The statue of course is badass, but it's in the NA version too, so that doesn't say anything.

The belt buckle looks pretty damn well made, it's pretty unique, and it's gorgeous. It also follows the history of apparel related AC CE items. I'm sure everyone here would die to get their hands on the hoodie from one of the Korean editions.

The flag is a nice touch. Realistically, the flag is almost an extra, seeing as a US buyer is getting a total of four different collectors items. The buckle, flag, statue, and steelbook. US buyers are also getting the steelbook free; you just don't pay for your pre-order of the base game. The UK is only getting three different collectors items really (if you don't count the box; and the quality of both boxes is still yet to be seen), unless you buy both the Join or Die and Freedom editions. So in the end, even if the flag is a little chintzy, it's still a cool touch. It's also very original.

All of the editions look pretty good to be honest, but I don't think the NA one is quite as bad as people are making it out to be.

(Also, what's the deal with the picture of the game case in the picture? It looks like steelbook with different art than the pre-order steelbook, but it's been confirmed that there will be no steelbook. Digipack?)

Any idea if they will be painted or "what you see is what you get"? I'm a sucker for figures but not really liking the unpainted metallic look.

There are Korean Editions for AC3? Got any links/pics? Is there anyway to get one of those?

No, I believe there was a Korean CE for the first AC game, and it came with a hoodie.

Belt buckles not that original, Uncharted 3 had one and I'm sure there's another one.
