Ubisoft have been treating AUS real good actually. None of the CEs are overpriced in comparison to the rest of the world. I will bet $200 or $228 for the anthology

"if" and i mean "if" it does come to the US...i doubt it would be the exact package...if it's US $200...no one will buy it..it will probably be a different set up..and can't be priced more than $150 otherwise it will sit on shelves.

I'm just saying the US won't get this particular edition in the same packaging, if the US does happen to get an Anthology of some variant, it probably won't be packaged like the PAL version!? Same goes for the Trilogy that the US got that PAL territories didn't.

we all know that ubisoft always gives EU and AUS the best non standard editions for some reason. like konami, namco bandai in recent years and square-enix to name a few.
i dont think an anthology pack will ever release in the US, the only thing they can do or actually done it is decreasing the price for the digital and the retail releases of AC games.

They timed this reveal just after AC3 released so sales of AC3 would not be affected. I think many people would have bought this instead of AC3 on it's own if it was announced earlier.

And end Nov release just in time for christmas season when the casual shoppers start buying gifts and 5 games in 1 would be a great gift. They just forgot to put a christmas theme on the box

I've got all the games, I just want that steelbook!

No doubt I'll be able to get one in due time.

steelbook aside, this news kinda sucks

so maybe i will wait for AC3 brotherhood, AC3 GOTY, AC3 revelations, AC3 revengeance whatever etc.... to be released, and THEN wait for the Assassin's Creed Trilogy Collector Anthology, and buy it then.

Will wait this out and see if it gets bargain binned. Even as a 5-in-1 Christmas bundle, this is still too expensive for a casual shopper as a gift considering the age of the games.

We'll see what happens...

That wouldn't be surprising nor is it the first franchise to get similar treatments. It's been done for dvd/bd movies and music and I don't think video games are any exception. Just look at what Bethesda did for 'Oblivion' five years after release upon release upon release....
