maybe tell tale is just saying that...because PS3 discs are marked pal and ntsc region 1, 2, 3, etc..but in the end it does'nt really matter..officially maybe it is only ntsc but unofficially it should work no?

I just cant believe the ps3 version wouldnt work, i cant even name one game that is not region free.

As I said before the only region lock game was P4 Arena. Not sure why telltale says that it is not compatible or just pain ignorant of the fact that PS3 are region free.

Another possible meaning is PSN region lock which means you will require US PSN account to play it.

His explanation in the forum is epic fail and does not clarify any point. If he was speaking of XBOX copy then yes they could region lock it.

i think technically speaking they are trying to drive a wedge between pal and ntsc because they don't want somebody buying it because they said it was cool..only have maybe some on-line features not being compatiable..or the person is'nt aware since PS3 being region free is not really officially advertised or spoken about to the masses..it's just something that happens to be there...99% sure there not going in and region locking this on PS3..with some sort of conspiracy.lol.i don't think that person knew what he was talking about..it was just a general assumption?

Persona 4 is not region locked at all. Becuase my copy playes on both my Japanese and america ps3 for both my Japanese and american copies so ya. I also dout that this game is region locked. If the game is not working them its some isue with your ps3 rather then the game itself being region locked at all.

Its locked for pal consoles lol. No idea how they did it but they did

No its not its not locked on my pal console ether. I just tried it last nice and it worked ok right on my Uk ps3. Though i have experiance a region lock bs message before when i tried to play tiger woods 11 on my american ps3 when the freeking game is an american game now that makes no freeking sense there.

Yes if it don't then its just some randam isue with your ps3 then you may have to call sony about there is no ps3 game at all that is region locked from any console.
