i speak only for my local game and webstore as i am sure there are many good game stores and staff, but they are a bunch of fucking chimps who wear the pre-order shirt at the same time as telling you they run out.

Yep. Same thing happened with my local GAME, formerly Gamestation.

Me: Can I have a Halo 4 steelbook please?
Store Monkey: They're for display.
Me: What if I pre-order the game?
Store Monkey: Yeah, OK then.
Me: OK, I'll pre-order a copy.

Me: Can I have a steelbook now?
Store Monkey: No.
Me: Why not? You said I could if I pre-ordered.
Store Monkey: They're point of sale display items and are not for sale.

And just found out today one of my three local game stores had a mahusove ac display like 10 feet wide by 8 feet high
And the guy that works at the store that got it is going to stick it in his garage
Damn wish I worked at game just t raid the bins every week

tis possible in any job, theres an ebay monkey that works at game for sure this seller was selling halo steels borderlands dlc etc he made 700 hundred easy in october from selling preorder stuff
