Ayiu's new intro thread
Welcome to my thread. Here's a short introduction about me.
Well, my name is Katrin which cannot pronounced by English speaking people properly, so feel free to call me Kat I'm 24 years old and at the moment I'm a student of international law and economic. Collecting was always part of my life and I grew up with it. My grandparents lead me to collecting rare coins and stamps. At a later stage I started collecting Kinder surprise egg figures. So it was just a matter of time until I find something new.... In the meanwhile I managed to get a boyfriend who owns a Xbox 360, yada yada yada, and I became a gamerscore whore Back to collecting: It happened when Assassin's Creed II was released, surprise, surprise our first special edition was an AC related one....the AC II White Edition. To build up our collection we bought a lot of crappy editions and only used ones. But after some time it was me who decided that non of our future editions will be opened. So most of our editions are sealed now a days. We are also into collecting official strategy guides no matter if they are hardcover or paperback. From time to time an art book find its way in our midst. So enough talking...let the pictures speak for themselves overall picture of my gaming/collecting setting glass cabinet some of my bigger ce's, except Crysis 2 Nano Editionand Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition, these are stored in my wardrobe. Another group picture of bigger ce's which also includes some of my favorite editions like Magna Carta, Kingdom under Fire, the last Remnant and Dead Island closer look at all of my smaller edition's A-D D-M M-S S-W Last but not least a picture of our strategy guide collection. They are stored at my boyfriends house. If you wish to see closer pics of my whole collection please check out my flickr account as it would take ages to place all the picture in this thread. I created two sets one for my games and one for all of my books and I'm also working on my own homepage I took photos of every single edition and I wrapped them one by one in plastic to protect them from dust. That's why you see some tesa on a few editions. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ayiu/sets/ don't fall asleep from viewing all the pictures Last edited by Ayiu; 03-11-2013 at 04:40 PM. |
